  4. I noticed that as well. I think they were extremely negative about Stone winning the job.

  7. I really feel bad for Rogers as he was promised a starting job and chose us over a CAL offer. He would have started for them!! It will sting.
  8. College football returns this week as 14 of the nation's 133 Football Bowl Subdivision teams open their slates with "Week 0" contests. Many more get going next week and Saturdays will soon be filled by the sport once again. As squads from across the country open their seasons, plenty of players who hail from Denton-area high schools are part of their rosters and could be among those to make noise this fall. Looking for a particular team to watch? North Texas leads the way among colleges with seven former local players on its roster, while TCU is just behind with six. Oklahoma is right on their heels with five former local players, while Oklahoma State and Sam Houston State have four apiece and several others feature three local products. read more: https://www.kpvi.com/news/national_news/59-former-denton-area-players-part-of-fbs-college-football-rosters/article_8ad96ffb-2c4b-5946-a5ca-f60d4947472d.html

  9. Terrance makes momentum changing plays, runs the floor really well, and has nice hands and coordination. He's constantly active with a high-motor and able to guard multiple positions with his size, length, and leaping ability, consistently creating steals and turnovers.Mar 23, 2022 https://ballersbridge.wordpress.com/2022/03/23/terrance-dixon-jr-68-stretch-f-from-bella-vista-prep-grind-session-season-recap/#:~:text=Terrance makes momentum changing plays, consistently creating steals and turnovers.

  11. I clicked it and they were talking about Georgia? Why are you linking this again?
  12. Yes I am also thinking of starting one up. Does anyone have some good software they recommend? I am not very good with computers but I have a lot of opinions on football and basketball. Am thinking we will keep it light and fun.
  13. UNT Basketball: Mean Green to Play In 2023 NABC Brooklyn Showcase DENTON, Texas – The North Texas men’s basketball team will face Fordham at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Dec. 10 as part of the 2023 NABC Brooklyn Showcase quadruple header, the event announced on Monday. The Mean Green and Rams’ tip-off time from the Brooklyn Nets’ home arena is scheduled for 10:30 am CT. The broadcast designation will be announced at a later date. This will be North Texas and Fordham’s first-ever meeting. UNT won the 2023 NIT championship last season and won a program-record 31 games. The Mean Green on April 2 elevated long-time associate head coach Ross Hodge to lead the program, which has won either a postseason league or national championship in each of its last four seasons. Since Hodge arrived to Denton in 2017, North Texas has won a combined 135 games, including upsetting Purdue in the 2021 NCAA Tournament for the program’s first ever NCAA Tournament victory. The Rams are led by second-year head coach Keith Urgo who in his first season turned the Fordham program around with its most single-season wins since 1971 (25). The Rams finished in a tie for second-place in the Atlantic 10 Conference standings. Urgo was named the 2023 A-10 Coach of the Year. UNT season tickets for the 2023-24 Mean Green men and women's basketball teams are available now at www.meangreentickets.com. Tickets start as low as $99 for men's and $75 for women's basketball. For more information on tickets, contact the Mean Green Ticket Office at 940-565-2527 or at ticketoffice@unt.edu. Fans can visit the UNT Athletics Ticket Office located at Gate 2 of Apogee Stadium between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets for the NABC Brooklyn Showcase will go on-sale via Ticketmaster and Barclays Center Box Office via presale on Tuesday, Aug. 15 and general public sale on Wednesday, Aug. 16. Broadcast designations will be announced soon.
  14. Therein lies our problem. Denton is starting to become a big city finally after decades of being a sleepy college town where the kids left on the weekends. There are some businesses in Denton that would like to see it stay that way forever sadly. The growth is phenomenal however and I think it is smart for Jared Mosley to focus on a 5 mile radius of the stadium. That is where you sell out the stadium. Also, you can't just target alums you have to go after college football fans who love the game and like to watch it live.
  15. Welcome to you and your family. At what linebacker spot are they looking at him at? Mike? Also I noticed he played at Braswell and Frisco. Do you think the move may have taken him off the radar a bit because his film was pretty impressive to watch.
  16. Agreed. Still ok to hope for something good to happen for us.
