-7 is all I could get on the Canales comment? I kid. I like Canales, and I think he's a good oc, but I really think something is off. Judging play calling is easy if it's not productive. I feel like hes not getting to run thr offense the way he wants to. In all honesty, I have heard from people in the know that Canales is out after this season and a bigger name coordinator is coming in. I don't want to spread rumors when I don't have first hand knowledge, so I won't name names on who that person will be. Not even sure if I truly believe it, but it's not completely off base so. Just something to keep in mind.

Run - no gain Run - no gain Pass on 3rd and long Punt Repeat. More than the run/pass, it's the actual plays themselves. Can they not throw a slant to chancellor? Can they not throw more short quick passes, and call plays that don't take forever to develop. I know Thompson is bad but figure something out. This offense needs to be better.

Canales won't/shouldn't be back.

This is one of the worst sequences of football that I have seen. Are we sure dodge isn't still running this thing? 3 1st downs in the red zone after penalties negated two good field goals, and they can't move the ball at all. Actually, they keep moving it backwards. The play calling is atrocious, and so is Thompson.

After a nice drive to go up 17-0, FAU scores to make it 17-7. Thompson just three one of the worst picks youll ever see. Personal foul after, FAU in prime location to score.

10-0. UNT should have more points on the board, but they can't put anything together. The offense continues to lack any rhythm, and they haven't been able to run the ball. Would still like to see some different play calling. Fortunatly there have been a couple turnovers in the red zone or they could be losing this game. They really need to get going, this is week 5.

I was going to start a thread with my displeasure with the pace at which the bridge is being completed earlier today, and then there was this little nugget in the promotion release... "The pedestrian bridge over I-35E connecting Apogee with the Fouts parking lots is scheduled to be completed and open for this game." Hopefully this is true. There's no excuse for it to not be ready.

Missed FGs, dumb penalties, and absolutely horrendous play calling. The players and the coaching staff should be embarrassed. You give up 14 pts at home and lose? Piss poor!

Needs to be better. Missing on too many throws, and his decision making on 3rd downs has been poor. I'd like to see more wildcat as well.

Continue to disappoint. 2 missed FGs, no returns on punts. I guess all of that preparation didn't help, it's still a glaring weakness.
