While I want to diminish Ben here, he might be right. It's not about not gaining people, at this point it's so bad and obvious, it's about losing what you have. I feel bad for the old timers on here who have endeared too much. We need to win more than we need a new locker room.

If he's the captain that this team needs and deserves, he should be busting his butt to help D. Smith get prepared. It's all about making the team the best it can be. And after seeing tonight, this team is better if he has a head set on. He's no Thompson.

Really? Crowd was great. Weren't too loud on offense ever. We are on the road. Crowd was loudest booing the offensive play calls after we didn't convert. Quit picking knits. Get to the heart of the problem.

Agreed on all points. Tonight was a joke. And the joke is on us to continue to support this crap, whether it's financially, invested time, buying the gear, etc. We NEED accountability in all aspects and it's NOT there. That's the problem. Charlie Strong feels the pressure 12 games in and made a move. We aren't Texas but our offense has been and issue since day 1 of McCarney. Where is the pressure going to come from?

A 7-year-old who has played Madden could construct a more productive offense than that flaming brown paper bag we had tonight.

There's a lot of skill in this game, but these two teams have beat the heck out of each other. Not a lot of size, but they're quick, tenacious and can just flat out hit.

Unfortunately, I doubt it. It's not how many, it's who. Not enough of that 37,000 care about sports and if they do, they follow another team. Not all of them, there are some good fans and student turnout has been good, but when they graduate and move they don't pay for season tickets or come back for games. At least not enough. Otherwise our tickets sales would already be increasing. Hope it changes.

Just as I send that Doughty throws one a little high and puts the RB Allen in a bad spot and he takes an ugly hit. His knee bent the wrong way and he didn't put any weight on it leaving the field. Didn't look good.

Everyone knows about Doughty, but the WKU RB and special teams have looked even more dangerous in this game.

I think there will be a good crowd, 10k+ of it green. I know a lot of people still haven't purchased tickets. There are only about 300 tickets left on stub hub. Not sure about ticketmaster.

Just like that, it's 24-17 WKU. Dixon has been good for La. Tech and Driskell has been solid as well.

21-3 WKU early in the 2nd quarter. Could be 28-3 if WKU hadn't fumbled at the goal line.

Nice attempt at sarcasm I guess. Texas State has already had Houston and Texas Tech at their place recently and have home games scheduled with Baylor, Houston, SMU, Tulsa, Ohio, So. Miss, UTSA.
