The TV potential is light years better for USA compared to Sun Belt. Conference USA gets televised on ESPN/ESPN2/FoxSportsSW multiple times a week. When has that EVER happened for SUN BELT? ESPN3.com does NOT count If you go up to anyone with some college sports knowledge, who will name more teams in Conference USA compared to Sun Belt, that is IF they even heard of the Sun Belt. I haven't had a chance to bring this up but, first year starter class of 2013 Junior QB Baker Mayfield has been quite impressive this season. After taking over the reigns from SMU Athlete (QB/RB/DB) commit Collin Lagasse when he went down with a injury the first game of the season vs Westlake. He has lead the Lake Travis Cavaliers(14-0) into the State-Semi's this weekend vs Pearland Dawson this Friday at The Alamodome. Lake Travis is going for their 5th straight Texas State Championship. I couldn't find anything as far as height but he is around 6'2'' but can run the ball as well Season Stats so far are B. It will be interesting to see what happens with LSU and Houston with the new conference realignments. I would honestly be for dropping the LSU for a home game, as well as dropping Texas Southern for a FBS opponent. It doesn't help us by beating TSU and can only hurt us if we lost. Just look at WKU, they missed out on a bowl game because of losing at home to Indiana State.

SHSU has just 3 wins against non Div1 opponents and also lost by 16 @UT. If this team can continue to grow more mature with better shot selections and limit mental errors they should get the W. Loved the rebounding today vs LMU.
