Go Daddy.com bowl and the New Orleans bowl are automatic, then we are alt. for Beef 'O' Bradys, Independence, Papa Johns, and Little Caesars bowl games

You cant say Unt is a horrible road team, look at who we've played this year... I dont have the stats but i think 6 out of 7 of wins have been on the road, the only win at home was against Wky in 2009 in the past 4 years i believe. These next 2 road games will tell us a lot about this team

No one said its guaranteed, its up to the bowl committee to see who they want to invite. Being a team that travels well helps us more than a team with one more win that doesnt put butts in the seats. Ive talked to a lot of people and they might not come to Denton for a game but theyll travel to a bowl game

Unt travels the best in the belt, the only other teams that compete are Ull and Mutts. Bowls dont look at records they look at how well you travel and money coming in. If we win 6 games I'm 98% sure we'll get into a bowl game, we have 2 guaranteed games and the godaddy.com bowl goes to anyone.

Rushing the field is great, I know a lot of the players and they were coming up to me to give me a high five and celebrating.. They embrace it because it makes them feel good about this program, we have lost to many damn games and lost hope so many times. When we went to Clemson last year, we walked on to the field with everyone else and its not a big deal and they beat a Sun Belt team. We were taking pictures with Bowers in a cowboy hat and he was cracking up. Its not that big of a deal, everyone just makes it one

Everyone that hasnt been in a fraternity, doesnt understand how much we do for this school. If they wanna drink at tailgate and during a game, let them do it. This program hasnt won enough games at home to make it a priority to come into the stadium. Quit b!tcing about the fraternities and sororities for supporting our school and having more school spirit than any other orginaztion on campus. Last time I counted, there werent 6 non fraternity guys driving to Clemson, Hot Springs, Bama to go to games, it was a bunch of drunk fraternity guys that do.

Is everyone really that dumb, how many college games(other than unt) have you gone to that there is no one is out tailgating during a game??? Yall are just wasting your time talking about this, just like the uniform thread(s)...

After leaving the Tavern, I decieed to donate to #occupydenton. As a registered Stock Broker I thought it would be kind of me to give back to those in need. I went to Jimmy Johns (a corporate company) and bought a loft of bread, and donated it to those who are camping out on fry. They have no food or water and as a person of corporate america I thought I should give back to those in need. Needless to say, they ate it...... This post has been promoted to an article

Unt has never had a Jr. or Sr. QB start the majority of the games since 2005....Scott Hall was the last Sr. to start in 2004

I was thinking the same thing, just like i said in my other post. Why are you taking out your qb because he cant get the ball down field to replace him with another qb who can throw a slant

That is true Hines did have control of the play calling. Remember when Power didnt go after the ball and almost turned into a pick six. You cant wait for the ball to come to you, you have to go after it. I dont think Chico and Mac have confidence in there recievers to make plays

I agree but I think it Mac isnt letting Chico run his offense. It isnt the same as last year when he was running the team.

Did you ever think that Troy isnt that good, just because they were a preseason favorite doesnt mean they are the best. Look at lala they were proejcted last and there #1. Preseason and past ranking dont mean anything in the season. I know Ive said that we cant bring up last year because this team is 90% different, we only lost by a touchdown last year to troy

I didnt know Chico was the QB, and the one behind center taking snaps. DT hasnt been able to read all his routes it seems like all year. I dont know if its because he doesnt wanna get injured again becuase his line isnt holding blocks or if he just has tunnel vision. Power also doesnt have the greatest hands on the team, hes dropped/missed some passes this year. I think he caught one pass last year in juco, he was mainly used as a blocking TE. Chico also said last year that he got a TE that they were going to use a lot, but we havnt seen it

I wouldnt say our denfese sucks, when your offense has 24 3 and outs in a game, your D will be exhausted by the 4th quarter. Everyone complains about not getting pressure and sacks. Today we had 4 sacks and and forced fumble and another FF on special teams Our offense isnt helping out, they were inside the 30 5 times and came away with 10 pts. Im not saying we have to have TDs everytime but walking away 3 times with zero points puts a dagger in the game. Not to mention they only had 2 first downs in the second half and one of them was on the last drive
