I really think a lot of yall dont know who Gus Malzahn is. This guy wrote the book on the hurry up offense Heres the book. The man is an offensive genius, he uses the refs as screens in his plays... He was a HS coach back in 2001, its not like he came right out of HS like Dodge This is an absolute great hire for stAte, but I dont know how long he'll be there... I dont know if hes committed to the program like Mac or if hes using this as a stepping stone.. Interesting to see who had a better first year with all there Sr. leaving, Mac or Malzahn

Ive actually asked this question a couple of times and no one has responded. Ive been to College Station about 4 times in the past 4 years and Ive had the worst time there, while other people say its the greatest college town. Its all about youre opinion but the fans are more interested in traveling to the Big 12 than Sun Belt.

Travling to the belt teams arnt fun... Who wants to travel to Monroe, LA... Place smells like a dump We have no rivalry, but WKU is the only one that would come to my mind just because they are the only other team that seems to beat us

The belt hasnt done enough to make people wanna join... They have 2 bowl games, compared to the Mac and Cusa who have around 5 each.. No one wants to be like WKU who won 7 games and #2 in the belt and isnt playing in a bowl game. Wright needed to retired and bring someone new in who can actually run a conference

This worked really bad for Auburn, Gene Chizik who was the HC of Iowa State and went 5-19 in two years before getting hired on at Auburn..Compared to Kevin Sumlin who went 35-17 at Houston. If you can coach, you can coach at any school from the sec to the belt.. Its all about bringing on the right coordinators and assistants.

Finally someone who actually knows something.... I was wondering if Followill is the play by play for the Longhorn Network? I dount they would want to pay either but it would be part time during football season, he couldnt do basketball too. Never have I said that Hank does a bad job, Having a respected person in the DFW as a announcer for UNT is another type of marketing that they could do.

Actually Kirk Herbstreit and Brent Musburger are the best NCAA football commentators... If you dont think so, do you really think the Mouse Ear network wouldnt hire the best for its prime time games

I think they might look at top guys just because Jones wanted out last year and was rejected right before they crossed all the T's. Every coach is going to use this to there advantage because they dont know how long Jones be the coach there, when talking to recruits
