Dr. Seuss replied to emmitt01's topic in Mean Green Football
Well Ill be bringing around 10 people, and showing my Managing Director and other Sr. Managers how the SigEps tailgate.. I will be on the grill and drinking whiskey all day! GMG! -
look at all the post recently and all my -1's it speaks for themselves Thats a good point, but there might be some TVs on playing the UNT game at bars, but Im pretty sure most will be playing the Yanks vs Tigers and maybe catching the end of the UNT game if its close

Phil Steel's 2012 Mid Season All-Sun Belt team
Dr. Seuss replied to slugg's topic in Mean Green Football
Trice not being on the list is suprising -
As a program, playing one game on ESPN 2 is not a selling point, its actually a disadvantage in comparison to other programs, ex. Mac Conf.. The only advantage is if youre recruiting 2* athletes that are going to bottom FBS schools or Jucos that wont have that opportunity. Going to CUSA will help 100x more than this one ESPN 2 game You are dead on about the commercials, its going to be great but my whole opinion is about the audience size and some people making this bigger than what it actually is.. But I guess I will agree to disagree with yall, it wont be the first and wont be the last

Thats why the title says "Please inform me"... I tried to look it up to and found nothing... Absolutely playing on ESPN 2 is a positiive, Im not saying it isnt, but I dont think its something to go crazy about... Like Ive said before I think playing on ESPN 2 and ESPN 3 is the same
-
Thanks for the National vs broadcast definitions. If your in Maine you can watch the game but honestly how many people in Maine are really going to watch UNT vs ULL... Mac teams play all the time on ESPN and I might watch 10 mins of it... I just think that playing on ESPN 2 is not that big of a deal, I think playing on ESPN 3 has the same national exposure...Now if College Game Day is here then thats a different story
-
Not to be rude, but you know nothing about statistics
-
ESPN 2 is not a big deal to me, and everyone has a different opinion on it. Thats why I asked and no one has given me a logical reason... I was seeing if anyone has any stats on these weekday mid major games to see what the TV audiences are, how many people actually watch the game, etc.... Until someone can prove to me with stats, this will just be another football game
-
Fully aware, thats why a great man made DVR
-
ESPN 2 isnt really National Televsion, I mean you could say espn3, comcast southwest, fox sports is national television... National Television is all of the basic channels, not cable networks, imo.. And we have been on all 3 channels before this game
-
How many times have you watched the entire tuesday or thursday night college football game
-
I dont really understand why everyone is so hyped up about being on ESPN 2... I mean its not like college game day is coming to UNT, its ESPN 2... Im not sure but I dont really think millions of people are really going to watch this game, maybe 20k if were lucky... Honestly, how many more students will actually go to the game on a tuesday compared to a saturday...

Thats Macs offense, he comes from a big 10 background and that what they do... I dont know how many time we have to tell you but thats the offense game Mac wants to run... I dont agree with it, but thats his game plan
-
I hear he wont play because of his shoulder, no matter what they say about the NCAA ruling
-
Running backs is the least of our worries... You dont have to have 1 stud back, Byrd, Jimmerson, Brown tandem is isnt our problem
-
North Texas fans are now the exact definition of Insanity
-
You cant compare the TX State game compared to this game it was played over a month ago... They fired the OC and the coaches made adjustments, pretty simple
-
Its the reason why he was kicked out of Ames, I just dont understand why he doesnt let chico run the offense, hes acting like Jerry.... There was a lot of personal fouls called on us... From what Im hearing, Brock is looking really good.. And everyone knew our DBS were going to have a rough time this year, and this game showed it
-
What are we going to do?
-
Yeah that surprised me, that's on Miles not Tony
-
The stat that impresses me the most this season is the turnovers we are forcing in the red zone, we have 4 on the year.. Thats huge, and shows the progress of the Defense
-
Our offensive output tonight was impressive
Dr. Seuss replied to H-towngreen's topic in Mean Green Football
Its not Chico's offense hes playing, its Macs.. Talk to any Iowa State fan, he old school and runs the ball on first downs and throws when the defense knows it.. Liked the play actions passes, running game wasnt effective, Jimmerson looked great in space -
An assault is carried out by a threat of bodily harm coupled with an apparent, present ability to cause the harm. It is both a crime and a tort and, therefore, may result in either criminal or civil liability. Generally, the common law definition is the same in criminal and Tort Law. There is, however, an additional Criminal Law category of assault consisting of an attempted but unsuccessful Battery.
