grew up 20 minutes from him in Whitesboro.. Know him, wouldnt call us friends cause we had some great games in High School, but he is a cool dude and i even sent him a facebook message that had some condolences and even a little UNT and Johnny Jones shout out... Why so much negativity!!! Its ridiculous, i actually drove 3 hours to the game and feel totally different about this one. 1st sam houston honestly out played us the first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes thats it! The rest of the time we were a better team... 2nd they shot lights out and we didnt, this isnt going to happen every game and no the perimeter d was not as bad as your making it out to be, they stepped up and hit big shots we didnt this time... 3rd SHSU is a darn good ball club and they beat us on their court w/ a solid enviorment, it was actually quite loud and emotions were high, and lastly i still left the gym thinking we are a good team and have the potential to be great! i dont understand how everyone can just throw in the towell after this one just doesnt make sense

Back on the road after 2 home W's... opponent Texas Southern, there 1 and 5 record is decieving... I feel they are better as they have had a brutal schedule, and in addittion they are returning for their first home game... I feel we definately have ability to win and expect to but now days nothing is easy and this one should be a good game... Im predicting another good game out of the back court as tristan or josh will lead us, i also (for the first time all season)feel someone of our bench will have a day... jacob had a great game against tx southern last year so hopefully that can happen again... What do you think????

no one has taken in the account that this could actually help us come SBC tourney time... after a week off we will hit that thing running in shape while other teams starters might be dragging... yeah depth is an issue but were 5 and 1!!!!! as long as we keep winning im fine ... grambling has not played in 8 days which both scares me and could be good thing... hopefully rusty but at same time hope they dont run us out of gym and wear down starters... i think the goal in this one is obviously a W, but if we see tyler hall and avery redmond i think we all know whats up lol...
