It is only as bad as you make it!! In case you didn't notice there are other players that UNT had orginally recruited that will also be on the Texas Roster. Adam Lambert and Ben Parks. Lambert is going to Midwestern and Parks is going to Baylor. There are probably more that UNT might had been interested in at one time or the other.

If he ran a 4.2- 40 he would go straight to the NFL. I believe they said it was 4.9, which would be more believable, but if he keeps gaining weight it will affect his speed. Good Luck to him I'm sure he will be riding the bench for a couple of years before he is where they want him to be.

Why would you recruit someone who wasn't even an All-District or All-County and not offer others who had just as big as a frame and made all these honors and more experience.

Everybody needs to quit crying on here and show some support for their coaches and players. As long as they are improving in each game just have a little faith in them. I know you are disappointed in how this year has been, but remember that Dodge had one of the shortest time to recruit than other coaches and also had to keep the ones that were already on the team.

He is one of the most humble players I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He has good character and morals, something that UT is apparently lacking when they recruit their football players. They have had so many players in trouble with the law. If I was recruiting a player I woud care more about the kind of character that a recruit had than someone who talked highly of themselves liked the one I was by yesterday from Katy. His father was just as bad as him. Very annoying to sit by.

Will the first home game for UNT be televised this Saturday? If so on what channels. I have Direct TV. GO MEAN GREEN!!!!

Anybody going to watch the Junior and Senior Camp this Sunday? This would be a good chance to see some of the 2008 recruits.

I have looked at Walmart in White Settlement, and also in Saginaw and Decatur and no luck yet. I'll check tomorrow again in Decatur they were supposed to get a shipment in of magazines, but didn't know if they would get DCTF in or not.

With a 2.4 gpa he will have to have a higher SAT than what he has.

There is a Junior-Senior camp being held this Sunday, June 17th. There are some prospective recruits coming to the camp. It starts at 8:00 a.m. and ends around 1:15. It is on the athletic website under camps.

Praise God he is on the road to recovery. What a brave young man.

He needs to work on his speed, but he has a whole year to do that. Congratulations to him.

The list of schools that are on the websites are the colleges that are recruiting them not necessarily the ones that they are interested in. Just wanted to make that clear. Most students don't know what they want to do for the first couple of years, which is fine since you have two years of basics no matter what major you go into. I always told my kids to not worry to much about the major and focus on the basics, that will give you time to try to figure out what you really want to do. Also the recruit that is on the list (no names mentioned) that someone has stated that they thought that his dad coached at TCU is not right. He went to school there and played football for them, but is working somewhere else now. I think the major thing that I would consider is the academics, the kind of character that the coaches have, and the great facilities that I will be spending most of time at are at the top of the list for recruits.
