The only problem with this is if he goes to Juco they usually play every player that they have on there roster. For him to RS one yr he would have to pay his own way and more that likely not join that school team until next spring. This may not be an option with him.

From my source, UNT offer was removed after getting a commentment from another defensive lineman. I do not know if that commentment was from Micah Thompson or if another DL has commited that we on this board do not know about.

Being new to UNT here is my prespective on Riley Dodge. From what I have pick up from this message board the ONE & ONLY reason he came to UNT was to play for his father who was the Head Coach. Just take a moment and think how hard it was for him after his father was fired, to then go out each and every day and give his very best for the same group that fired a man that I know was very dear to his heart. Also even if he would have stayed at UNT, how would have most people have remembered him. My guess would be as the son of the coach we had to fire, instead on just Riley Dodge one mighty good football player. One thing I do know, and remember until just a little over a month ago this young man was just another name on a roster to me. he is no quitter. Best of luck at McNeese State Riley Dodge.

Being new to UNT, I have enjoyed all the talk about Uniforms designs. Who in the world came up with the Flying Worm. But that being said, I am old school. Uniform design should basically always stay the same. Example: Auburn, Alabama, Georgia Tech & Georgia basic uniform has not changed in years. I hate it when I turn onto a game and can not tell who is who because there uniform changes either game to game or year to year. Pick something and stick to in. This is how I feel about each and every school's uniform. I just have not got over a school's own fans calling a helmet design a Flying Worm. I can just see the SmackTalk each week.

Signed LOI are faxed on national signing day, then the orginals are Mailed/overnighted to the school. When Osborn committed over the phone, after his official visit, UNT overnighted LOI that was then signed and returned to UNT in the same manner that it was received. I do not know if it was also faxed back to UNT only because I did not ask. It is a written contract not a verbal contract. HS players can not sign a LOI until national signing day which is always the first Tuesday in FEB. Until then everthing is just verbal and therefore not official.
