Change to a different time like 4:00 am in the morning. I do not want to miss my after work Mean Green Fix. -
Best Scenario would be Bama having half there team set out the first 4 games this year like A.J. Greene from Georgia last year. Suitgate - Alabama Crimson Tide Thanks for the Alabama fan for these taking pictures. This will be great! Pictures show Julio Jones and Trent Richardson being photographed at the menswear store in Tuscaloosa. Seems a little odd Julio has some really nice suits for gameday and Trent Richardson signing jerseys at the store that sold the jersey later on. http://outkickthecoverage.com/julio-...many-suits.php http://outkickthecoverage.com/why-is...om-albetar.php http://outkickthecoverage.com/alabam...n-menswear.php

I know for a fact the answer to this question, Yes he can.

If the SEC expands it will be A&M and Clemson. It will not be A&M and OK. The reason is one of the new member would have to go in the east and the other in the west. If it were A&M and OK who would go to the east. The SEC would not split OleMiss & MissSt, or Aub & Ala. That only leaves LSU and Arkansas. Also, I do not see the SEC going to 16 teams for football. The reason Money. The Big Boys in the SEC are going to have 7/8 home games each and every year. Home games bring in Money for them.

Why I'd rather beat Indiana than Houston

Anyone planning on traveling to Tuscaloosa for UNT vs. Alabama
ValleyBoy replied to eggerton's topic in Mean Green Football
I will be in T-town along with the Mean Green Bama Gang. -
Being from Alabama I can tell you that it is AU for Auburn University http://www.ptgrouponline.com/PTE/College%20Logos/auburn.jpg and UA for University of Alabama.
-
UAB, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Know as UAB UCLA, University of California at Los Angles. Know as UCLA USC, University of Southern California. Southern Cal. Know as USC or Southern Cal. TCU, Texas Christian University. Know as TCU. SMU, Southern Methodist University. Know as SMU. Each of the above schools official name is a mouth full. Being very new to the University of North Texas this is the way I see this question on what the University is called. One year ago I could not have told you if the official name was University of North Texas (UNT) or North Texas University (NTU), but I knew North Texas was the Mean Green and was a member of the SunBelt Conference and that Joe Greene had played for North Texas. When acronym are used most people have to think. When members of this board use UT they think of a cow school and I think of the Vol's. As a former outsider who's opinion probably means nothing. People will know who North Texas is and will have to think of what UNT means.

I was just watching this program that shows military surprise homecomings. One of homecoming showed a North Texas flay on the living room wall.

I think I heard several years ago that new stadiums had to be designed to be able to have all fans removed from the stadium within a certain time frame. Most of your older stadiums have smaller walkways because they were build many years ago and are grandfathered in. Any new additions to these older stadiums include crowd movement in there new additions.

Leave it, use it for something else. You can never tell what will happen in the future to Fouts Field. I can remember the old Barn that Auburn University used to play basketball in that was replaced in the late 60's/early 70's???? Auburn used it until it burned down on a Saturday night during an ESPN tevised game. Flames shooting over the Auburn student section. People still talk about the night that the Barn burned down.

Fall Practice Is Not Yet Here...
ValleyBoy replied to The Fake Lonnie Finch's topic in Mean Green Football
Being from Alabama I would not say that Troy recruits like an SEC team. I would say that "Troy is able to recruit player head to head on a even playing field against non BCS football programs." Yes, they are able to sign a few players that could play in the SEC, but there bread and butter is being able to recruit head to head against any Sunbelt, Conference USA, or MAC school. Not every player can sign with a BCS team and Troy does a good job at signing these players. If you check Troy roster almost every player listed is from either Alabama, Georgia, or Florida. If I counted correctly only 13 players listed on there roster are from other states. -
Liars, cheaters like Jim Tressel deserve to lose their job http://blogs.ajc.com/jeff-schultz-blog/2011/05/30/liars-cheaters-like-jim-tressel-deserve-to-lose-their-job/

I do not feel that OSU will get anything even close to the "death penalty." But I do feel like the NCAA will hit them very hard with loss of scholiships and probally a two year bowl ban. The only problem is that it will be 2/3 years before the penalty takes effect.

It would not do any good. They would not read them. Some are just good talkers, but do not even have the sense to get in out of the rain.

Just A New Idea On The Color Of New Uniforms
ValleyBoy replied to scrappyman1's topic in Mean Green Football
I say just make the entire uniforms (from shoes up to top of helmet) the same shade of green as the new turf going in at the new staduim. Add white numbers. If it is good enought for Boise St it is good enough for North Texas. -
Not a teacher for pay, but work for free with a boy scout troop. We have several rules that the boys of the troop have to follow. They will say yes/no (sir/mama). If they choose to ware a hat, the hat will be wore correctly. (bill to the front) none of this sideways BS. We do not want to see there underpants. Pull your pants up. If said pants will not stay up on there own, we have rope that they can use to hold there pants up. Very simple rules. Follow these rules and you will not have any problems. Do not follow these rules and the wrath of the scouting forefathers will fall on you like stink on dung. Each youth and there parents are informed of these simple rules. If they do not like this rules tough. They can join another scout troop. Respect is not one of the scout laws, but respect will be given to everyone.
