This is a big hit on the PennSt football program. Having to compete with 2 less scholarship that a FCS football program. And they will be in worse off for players than a FCS program because a FCS football program can spread there 67 scholarships over more that just 67 players because they can give partial scholarships which PennSt will not be able to do since they can only give full scholarships.

Aggie fans may not be thrilled now about not playing the Longhorns every year but I can tell you that they will get over it but it will take time. I grew up and Auburn fan and I know it was hard when Auburn first stopped playing GaTech each year when the SEC expanded there conference scheadule and GaTech joined the ACC. Then when the SEC went to two divisions to not play Tennessee every year. And on top of that to stop playing Florida .every year. But new traditions have been started with LSU and Ole Miss who Auburn very seldom played in the past, and with Arkansas when they joined the SEC. Aggie Fans will get over Texas very quickly when right at 11,000 Bama, Auburn, LSU & Arkansas fans visit College Station when they play the Aggies. Each SEC school has to provide the visiting SEC school at least 10,800 seats for all conference games and each of the above schools from the SEC West will sell and bring there full allotment.

A&M does not need Texas now that they are a member of the SEC. Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and Arkansas every year plus who ever they have to play from the SEC east. Yes I know Texas-Texas A&M is a tradition but who needs this game more now A&M or Texas. i say Texas is the one who needs this game more now not A&M.

You could consider Osborn a FCS transfer instead of a JUCO recruit. After burning his redshirt year at Georgia Southern Osborn made the decision to transfer to a JUCO instead of going the walk on route at several different schools where he would have been ineligible to play till this past fall. I believe the route that Osborn took was the best decision because of the game experience that he got in his one year in JUCO. Basically Osborn is FCS transfer with one years experience as a starter.

If they wait till after june 1, 2013 still FCS 2014 transition year CUSA schedule ( like USA in SunbBelt this year) 2015 Full CUSA full D1/FBS program Someone correct me if I am wrong.

My understanding is they sell out because they all able to sell all there tickets except for student and visitor tickets as season tickets. There football tickets are a hot item. With there move up I can see only donors being able to get tickets until they all more seats.
-
That is my understanding from a ODU poster from another board. ODU reason for waiting till after June 1 is so that there first signing class which will be senior this fall will have the opportunity to play for the FCS title this fall. The poster felt that ODU owed this class that opportunity since they were willing to commit to a start up program instead of going some where else to play football.

Negative on the above in bold & ValleyBoy know this for a fact. Now I have no idea how the conspiracy theorists will react.

Brent has no plans on checking out over the summer, and you can take this information to the bank.

East Carolina & Marshall wanted eastern teams added. Also both have very good basketball programs.

I agree with you Harry that Benson jumped the gun in adding GaSt. This fall GaSt will be lucky if they win 3 games & you can take that to the bank. Just my gut feeling but I believe that the SunBelt has more options of schools to add that the WAC. So why jump the gun by adding a school that will be a conference doormat for years. Georgia State will be a doormat within the SunBelt when it comes to football. And without winning being located in a major market will mean squat to delivering that market.

Georgia State grad school is very big with the major corporations in Atlanta. If you were familar with there location you would understand why they have such a big police department. Panhandlers and street walkers. When they say downtown Atlanta they mean it. The average person driving down the streets of there campus would only know that they were on a college campus by a few flags hanging on the sides of the city streets. They campus looks like any other downtown street in Atlanta.

Deion Sanders Jr., the son of the NFL Hall of Famer, will be playing football in the Atlanta area next year. The 5-foot-8, 175-pounder will enroll in a prep school, The Atlanta Sports Academy, which is located 45 miles north of Atlanta in Dawsonville. The two Deions will visit the campus on Wednesday or Thursday. http://blogs.ajc.com/recruiting/2012/03/06/deion-sanders-jr-headed-to-atlanta-to-play-football/?cxntfid=blogs_recruiting

The search is expected to focus on younger assistant coaches or coordinators at the FBS level, such as Houston offensive coordinator Jason Phillips, Oregon secondary coach John Neal, Tennessee defensive line coach Lance Thompson and North Texas offensive coordinator Mike Canales. It could also focus on head coaches at lower level programs such as Georgia Southern's Jeff Monken, West Alabama's Will Hall or Murray State's Chris Hatcher. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/11/uab_begins_search_for_a_new_fo.html

Osborn did not go in for one play. They had him warm up on the sidelines but did not put him in the game.
-
And each one of them is fast as greased lighting.

Do like a good Hotties Thread.

I see Coach Saban starting to pull his starters after Bama get a 17-21 point lead, and he feels like the game is in hand. His reason will be to get his younger players experence and to keep his starters healthy for Arkansas next weekend. He will not try and run up the score but then again the Mean Green will have to stop the younger Tide players from scoring.
-
Ok who is making the trip to T-town. I would hate to be only one out of four wearing Mean Green shirts inside Bryant-Denny.
-
That would be the tailgate on the back of my truck in T-town Saturday.

Did you make the above information up, except for the freshman QB. http://www.utahstateaggies.com/sports/m-footbl/stats/2011-2012/usu01.html Check your facts. RT Gapela RS Senior starting his 29th game RG Schultz RS Soph Starting his 7th game. Signed with USU in December of 2008, after an LDS Church Mission and went through spring drills. Will be 24 years old next week. C Larsen RS Soph Starting 13th game. Is also on the 2011 Rimington Trophy watch list. LG Asisi RS Senior Starting his 19th game LT Lasike JR JUCO Transfer Starting his first game. 2 Seniors. 1 Junior. and 2 RS Soph. That really sounds like and inexperienced offensive line.
