  1. in case you like tears of unfathomable sadness... UTSA down 21-3 to the Blazers midway through the second qtr
  2. CUSA West is ours!!
  3. so you think implying that one of the biggest vocal supporters of Mean Green athletics over the past 25 years doesn't make it up to games is the best way to address this issue? he basically told you to do some research since you 'haven't been on earth' long enough to know about his history with the university
  4. yup.
  5. i don't have too much of a problem with his play calling, i just think he doesn't have the command that a head coach does. listening to him on beyond the green, he just isn't there with being able to speak in front of a team/command respect. These are not easy skills and could take him another 3-4 years to get comfortable with.
  6. i juzzz think its fassssnating...
  7. lulz... what is wrong with that kid?
  8. 25 points to win a set rotating is still a thing the different colored jersey is the teams designated 'libero', meaning she is free to enter/exit that game at any stoppage in play, but cannot attack or block the ball. i thought the fact that both UNT and WKU were wearing black was weird as well.
  9. pretty awesome feeling today guys. Congrats to both ladies teams, I'm tuning in tonight to see us beat up on the longhorns .
  10. he also placed some hedge bets at various casinos for the Astros to win.
  11. eyyyyyyyyy... you sat almost directly behind where i used to sit.
  12. give me the Dickey All-Blacks!!!
  13. no flying worm... womp womp
  14. reacts from around Texas today aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand Baylor... who's just happy to have won a game
  15. such greatness
  16. I'm all for the game being in Nashville, just for the record...
  17. the only similarity between UAB and La. Tech is that the score was close. People tend to be less than happy when you go up by a score of 30-14 on a team and then nearly lose it with a really bad second half, especially against a team that we thought was not as good as they have turned out to be. People also tend to be more excited when your team does not play it's best game, yet manages to come from behind and eek out a victory against a team that is perennially competing for the conference championship.
  18. UNT wins by 23.5 points
  19. that was cool, thanks for the trip to the past!
  20. geezus... the oddsmakers must be taking notice of us getting good, or UTEP being terrible
  21. I don't remember the offensive play. The INT had no angle to prove it, but i thought it could have been an INT. That being said, review would not have overturned it due to lack of evidence.
  22. that's definitely what it is looking like. FIU having that game cancelled may be helping their cause
  23. i'm trying to get to the fact that you're exaggerating the ineptitude of this team by proclaiming that we came out flat and the offense never looked good. then saying that 80% of the snaps by the offense in the first half were bad. Now you are saying that La.Tech had a great game plan. if you are arguing that we did not run the ball enough, Wilson touched the ball 22 times yesterday and i don't think that the coaches want him touching the ball more than 25 times a game due to health concerns beyond him, the running backs (since i'm assuming you don't want to include Fine's stats) ran the ball 9 times for 37 yards including two runs by Smiley... just over 4 yards a carry... mainly boosted by Smiley's non-traditional runs... Smith was 7 for 23, with a long of 8 yards. If you want to assume that anyone can step in and do what Wilson was doing, i disagree. La. Tech played a good game. our offense didn't play their best, but we still scored more points than them.
  24. hey, if the yankees can claim 27 world series titles going back to the 20s, when there were only 16 teams... we can claim ours.
  25. so by your own admission, the pick is not on the staff, and really, the offense should have scored 13-17 points in the first half? and those 224 yards... and you are saying the offense was not good from the first snap?
