Who was playing QB at your first CFB game?
golfingomez replied to Glory to the Green's topic in Mean Green Football
fun topic.. i grew up in an Aggie household, so my first game was Corey Pullig facing off against Kevin McDougal (had to look him up). First NT game in person was Scott Hall vs FAU -
lol, what a radical plan... i would have never considered those two items if i were in charge.

this is a weird post... you contradict yourself saying that fans want to watch the uniforms not the players, but also acknowledge that the fans are directly playing the players to come play for their school? i also don't know what your second point is at all? are you saying that we should go pro in coaching if we think the current system is unfair? or is the argument that the salaries are fair?

BREAKING: John Buggs III enters the portal
golfingomez replied to Jdawg48's topic in Mean Green Basketball
Call me crazy, but i think this is beneficial for Hodge. Last year's team, for all the talk about defensive prowess, never seemed to have an identity. To his credit, Hodge moved forward with handing the reigns to Edwards and telling him to just get out there and fill it up, but this squad needed to hit the reset button. Here's to hoping he can build a successful roster moving forward.- 39 replies

Doesn't even look like Rogers will start at Cal
golfingomez replied to peanuts104's topic in Mean Green Football
It's actually pretty amazing that this has happened... and the hustle still hasn't fallen apart for the schools. They can just crowdsource the work force AND get them to pay to watch them play. They get them coming and going! -
Tough game yesterday, but not unrealistic against Seton Hall. I'll be safe to lose some of these guys, but very excited for next year. I'm really hoping Hodge grows between year one and year two as well. (Not physically... But as a coach)

UAB falls 69-65 to SDSU. Props to them, they played a really hard fought game.
-
UAB game tied under two minutes
-
UAB is fighting! grabbed their first lead of the game with just under ten minutes remaining
-
Also... Western looking real good right now
-
i was confused by his decision there, very lackadaisical
-
NW just playing their game and hitting their shots, this is pretty surprising
-
Northwestern making this a very North Texas-style game... FAU up 20-19 at half! Based on this i fully expect FAU to pat them on the head with about 4 minutes remaining and win comfortably
-
FAU currently leading Northwestern 8-6 at the 12 minute timeout UAB tips off at 12:45 against SDSU (this will be tough one)

I mean... it sounds like a great gym... if you are in high school

LSU may have wanted to be there, but UNT clearly wanted it more
-
They definitely had more want to than LSU last night. Sissoko diving for that loose ball in the first half makes me hope the intensity level continues to increase during these games
-
Really great game to watch last night. We got the W and the chance to keep playing. No reason why we can't keep doing this.

The Johnny Jones Bowl! If NT loses, he has to powerwalk from Baton Rouge to Denton
