I think has this game been different by 7 points, either one less big play given up, or unt scoring an earlier touchdown, everyone is happy about our team. But that is the thing, this stuff is never easy

I agree with the above comments. It's been a long time since our defense had multiple guys hitting the ball carrier at the end of each play

Glad we got the W, although it didn't look great early on, i can't complain about much. The running game was great and i hope that's a real look from our experienced OL. Ruder looked half a step late on some throws, but our WR's weren't helping much either. Defense, looked OK, hard to tell in a game like this. KD Davis, keep it up!

Problem is that their alumni base (for Baylor or TCU) is probably a third of what BYU has. BYU currently has twice as many students as Baylor and three times as many as TCU

I think it will be a HUGE day when an NT player get $50K for a year... so proportionately, it should all level out. Power five players will have a much higher chance to get a power five 'salary'. at the end of the day, if players see everyone from their coaches on up to the universities doing whatever they can to get a few more bucks, why would they be any different? They see the university (UNT included) spending millions on facilities and coaches ($3MM on them?), and they get a scholarship worth maybe roughly $100K over four years (that goes right back to the university) and they are supposed to feel like they appropriately compensated?

remember that time someone posted a video of Josh Greer throwing in a practice facility and people got excited? that's how i feel about this...
