For as long as I am aware, the players are always on a one year "contract" with the university, and the coach can always "fire" a player after the season. Pretty much every aspect of college football is considered a business already

Fify. Every since Corso had a stroke he's been stumbling and mumbling his way through the show. GameDay used to be great, it's lost a lot of luster with the shows run time getting longer and longer(but still managing to only talk about the same five games every week). It also really hurt when Chris Fowler left, I like Rece, but he's no Fowler.
