if you take away the first ten minutes of the semifinal game, here's the point differential in all three games NT - UAB 67 - 54 March 10, minus the first ten minutes 82 - 79 February 9 63 - 52 January 21 212 - 185 total difference over those 110 minutes. Now, this obviously isn't living in reality, and who knows what would have happened in the semis if UNT played it close during that time. I just feel like we have a pretty good mental edge over the Blazers and they hate the way we play ball. If Jelly plays well this could be a close game, something like 66-64 NT. If he's off, I think NT can win 61 - 52

I know TP gets deservedly a lot of praise on this board, but Kai's play yesterday was unbelievable. He took over the game in multiple ways in the second half yesterday. locked down Hepburn and was heavily involved in the offense while playing 40 minutes next to TP. His progress throughout the year makes me dream of the missed opportunity of seeing him for a second year in this system.

still can't get over the final defensive stand... Scott's HUGE swat of that ball and then Sissoko showing what the toughest team is by diving for the ball with no time on the clock as Wisconsin's dude is just standing there watching the game roll away (we're still in the 24 hour window to gloat on this one)

What an insane game... Light the effing tower! How you hold a team scoreless for none minutes is beyond me. But as soon as that kid missed both free throws down the stretch I knew they were shaking too hard to make a bucket
