Hey, one of my better UNT collections is the annual magnet calendar they pass out every year... however I have a hole from the 2008 season when I wasn't around... is there anybody out there who happens to have an extra 2008 Football Schedule Magnet? I would love to be able to continue the timeline... or anything pre-2006, as I apparently did not keep my freshman and sophomore copies...

i'm pretty sure there are two things that outsiders can say about UNT right now to get us instantly fired up: 1.) Apogee sucks 2.) Tony Mitchell is overrated we should have more things on this list... we need to improve so that we get pissed off about everything!!!!

Why do I care what usm thinks of our stadium... Clearly all he saw was the outside of the wing zone... I think apogee is amazing... And that's all that matters to me

It's good news bad news time... EA released their demo for NCAA13 today, so I downloaded it... Their demo takes place durin the 10th week of the season. In the demo, one of the newer features in this game is a ticker on the bottom of the screen, just like ESPN. As I played the third demo game (Bama vs LSU) unt was playing their game. Despite playing Arkansas St. close for most of the first half, the game quickly went from a tie at 7 points apiece, to a 38-10 blowout... Now, the good news is, EA had UNT going 4-4 at that poin and 3-1 in conference... So... Not too bad

these aren't bowls... they are just locations... and they don't even make sense... why are Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Ohio St. etc. going to want to take their teams that far south just for a playoff game... if they ever go to a playoff system that big, there is no way, that first round games aren't done at home sites... which means good bye to any team below the big 5 conferences ever getting more than one team playing past the regular season

I watch about every football weekend in College Football... I pick up the NFL around the end of November(also consider how teams who are the top seeds start resting their starters at the end of the year), when you realize who is in or out of it already... and I pick up NCAA basketball(outside of UNT/Sun Belt) around February (where the majority of the teams DON'T have to win their conference tourney's to get into the NCAA) and around the same time as the NBA (who also rest their starters)... so yeah, I think College Football's regular season means a lot more to me... I think having college football be different i great...it's not the exact same format as everything else... because otherwise, having everyone do the same thing would be communism... and I love America too much to support communism...
