uh oh... talking football from my part of the world...
couple of factors that aren't pointed out here...
over the past 10 years Pace has actually been a good team, but Brownsville ISD (a school district that has this going for them : http://www.krgv.com/news/brownsville-isd-audit-reveals-systemic-corruption-/ , and moves personnel around more often then a 3 minute chess match: http://www.rgvsports.com/articles/brownsville-11734-coordinator-coach.html)
barely assigned Pace's football coach in June after crippling the school's talent line 2 years ago by opening up a new high school that took away most of the school's traditional talent...
this is a school that has little to no experience at the varsity level with a VERY new coach... it's just a bad deal for them...
the week after the Rowe game, Harlingen South played them and held a 56-0 halftime lead... they had some mercy on them though, and the game ended with the same score...
it's pretty unfortunate and Brownsville schools aren't getting any better with the people who are leading them
