I remember that earlier this year someone complained about somebody stealing their flag... I just wanted to report that the flag thief was back on Saturday... as after coming back from the game, not only was the flag gone, but the pole that it is on is gone as well... freaking idiots... I hope your car gets smashed into while sitting in a parking lot and no one leaves insurance information... (but no one gets hurt)

on top of the overtime thing... i think that game has to have tied a record for most missed field goals in one game... two teams combined to score a total of 15 points in 7 OT's... how is that possible? most games feature 15 points in 2 overtime periods!

will women be allowed in the stadium that day? or will they shuttle girls in from TWU?

Now, let's ANALYZE what's been working for us...

hell, Gary Patterson took over a program that had gone 25-11 in the three previous years before he started coaching... he took over and in his third year the Frogs went 11-2... then in 2004 dropped to 5-6, with losses to UAB and Tulane... but the program recovered, and his team undoubtedly had more talent coming in when he started... yet we are expecting Mac to pull off 8 win seasons from here on out just because we got a taste of success slow the eff down everyone and quit yer bitchin... look at all the positives that Mac has brought... Have we ever had a coach who trumpeted the program as much as he has? I love hearing Mac speak so positively about UNT, even if half of it is bullsh... the dude loves coaching and is trying to make UNT a better program everyday... and if you are ready to jump offboard because of a 4 game stretch, you're kind of an idiot.

just to recap, we are asking who is to blame for leading us to our 4th bowl game win in program history, or who is to blame for seeing a program slip after one year of success amidst an otherwise terrible past ten years? if you think that turning around a program like UNT was going to be a chart just showing a line growing at a 45 degree angle, you really need to rethink how this type of thing works.

I say 3-3... we all just need to step back and realize that, yes, this is a rebuilding year... as much as no one wants to acknowledge the fact that it is possible that UNT needs time to restock the depth chart after it's first 9 win year in over ten years... we need to be focusing on developing young talent right now and figuring out what our strengths are... really happy that Mac is keeping redshirts on kids and not panicking...
