this might have been the best episode yet... but the non-linear editing made it a weird one... i don't see why they couldn't have just fed the game narrative into the story about the two boys... the drama of switching to a new QB and still wanting to win the game for these kids would have been amazing... the first portion of the show was FANTASTIC... it really captured the feel of starting a new QB and hoping he lives up to the hype... i think narration would have had to have happened if they tried to tie the stories together, and there has to be someone who could have dropped in a bit of story there (is Jub Jub not available for that?)

but then again... we have never played in October, on the road, following a bye week... against a Non Conference Oppononent... so... it's a mystery again

SMU played a school that did this... SMU lost to a school by 37 points even though they had an offense that struggled to gain first downs against UT and La. Tech SMU lost by 45 to a school who left a qb in the game with a broken back! it's not looking pretty over near Mockingbird right now

also consider the fact that most BIG 10 schools have more speed than us... it's not like we are rolling out athletes like an SEC school, who the BIG 10 is slow to in comparison

as bad as this game makes IU look, this will have them all the more hungry to beat UNT... it's unfortunate that we didnt get them this past weekend
