for UNT to win the rest of the year 1.) the opponent cannot have a good QB... if they have a good QB, we are toast... Iowa started out the game 15 for 15 yesterday and could seemingly pick up any third and long they wanted to. 2.) Something has to improve at QB... McNulty has shown flashes... but we need more than flashes in order to win... if Smith comes in and is half as good as what everyone has built him up in their minds to be, that would also work.

man... i don't feel near as depressed as i did towards the end of the Todge era... i had to have my friend convince me multiple times to not wear the paper bag over my head trick... as much as McCarney runs it up the middle... Dodge would run bubble screens... at least now I have a bowl game in my recent memory...

oh... i thought this meant we would just put all three QB's in the backfield and the defense would have to guess which one was going to throw the incompletion

52-10... We score a field goal to start the 3rd qtr and then Mcnulty throws a TD pass with :38 seconds left in the game... and he is still quarterbacking...

yeah, we focus too much on the QB position and fail to address the fact that we have to have had the worst secondary in FBS over the past two seasons... Rice QB went 29/39 for 373 and 3 TDs... and one of those incompletions was an early slant dropped by an open receiver that could have been another 30 yard gain... the D-line started getting some decent pressure this week to help out the secondary... but we really can't cover anyone... and it only magnifies the problem on the other side of the ball where, aside from Harris and his speed, we don't have a receiver that we really trust...

why doesn't every opposing OC just throw deep against us on every play? have we ever been able to stay step for step with receivers?

we gave him a five year contract right away? it would be a great hire.... unfortunately... he can probably get hired on as an OC at a P5 for more money... but, he'll probably get one more year at Tech either way.... he's a hometown kid that they will give the benefit to

i thought Benny was in his final year of his contract... would he have a buyout?

So... i realized i never received my parking passes. Sent an e-mail to the ticket office last week and called today... they told me that they can't send me the tickets via USPS because it might mean I wouldn't get them for Saturday, then offered to send via fed ex... if I wanted to pay $10. so the girl told me to just get to the will call office on gameday to pick up my pass... how that will happen? i'm not sure... she said I should probably be able to drive close and get out for my tickets... probably...

you would clearly remember being there live, because it rained for pretty much the entire game... and EFFING UNT held fast to their 'no umbrellas' rule, despite the fact that no one in the world could possibly have had their vision obscured due to the lack of people there... Lance was a BEAST that game

honestly, in this drill they looked about the same, but that doesn't real tell us much
