I'm always confused by threads like these... did anyione growing up ever want to go to college in their hometown, or a town 15 miles away? There was no way in hell i was going to be that close to my parents for my college experience. I wanted to get away for sure.

this is exactly what i was thinking... this could have been any coach at any school in America...

here's the thing parents... i played some sports in high school, worked my butt off in practice and wasn't much of a player... so believe me when i say... i'm an expert at being no good at sports... no college program even noticed my number on the sideline... so if I say something to the affect of your son or daughter not playing well, it's only because i have years upon years of experience being crappy at sports...
