they are definitely not more athletic like those teams... they just employ about 7-8 bulldozers on every play... and ram the ball down your throat. i'm more worried about our LB's and safeties getting repeatedly run over than I am about watching those other teams simply throw the ball over our heads or run around us.

for the first timers, i would say chairs, beer and watching the weather are the most important factors... we started tailgating in 2009 during the monsoon against Ohio. we were totally unprepared and realized how much we didnt have... as we grew our tailgate, we slowly acquired items over the years that made our outfit a lot better. Just make sure you have a good group of friends who want to drink and talk NT football
