    Why are we arguing about Washington State? Personally, I basically only pay enough attention to P5 football to know that Alabama is pretty good. It's G5 (college) and NFL (pro) for me. Don't need to watch semi-pro (P5)

    I believe there's a shot that we make a major improvement this year if we can get decent QB play. Major improvement could be anywhere from 3-6 wins. If that happens, we are going to have a lot of fun over the next few years. BUT, I will be just fine with a 1-2 win team that fights, doesn't give up, and shows improvement from the start of the year to the finish. That will tell me that we have a good coach. So, I've got my green colored glasses and my lime kool-aid, but I'm OK if my wing-tipped mother ship never comes.

    Tony is 36 and didn't play his first 4 years, so it is feasible he could play to 40 behind this line if his collarbone and back hold up (his back seems to be 100% or close to it). QBs play to their late 30s. Even the best RBs don't usually make it to their 30s in their careers, especially not after carrying the ball almost 400 times in a year. That's just too much of a beating.
