  1. I was in Bloomington and whent to all the home games when IU football got up to 13th in the nation behind RB Alex Smith and a killer D (Hervin McCormick gave OLs trouble the same way Booger did)... I was about 12 years old but got to see the inside of the locker room, the weight room, and all the VIP areas. They were all top of the line. The stadium holds somewhere around 45k, and the campus is absolutely gorgeous. They have the building blocks to bring in some good talent and build a decent program, and there was a surprisingly good football culture there when they were good, considering the bball was awesome then and gets so much attention there. I still try to keep up with IU and their situation really mirrors ours in a lot of ways. This should be a great chance to see how our respective coaching staffs compare (both should be exciting). I can't wait till the 2011 season, and this game is one that I'm lookomg forward to as much as any. Go Mean Green!!!!!!
  2. What he said.
  3. SOW looks amazing, and has a classic (and classy) look to it. IMHO, it needs to be featured more. Otherwise, I agree that Nike should have some freedom. Even if you don't like the Oregon uniforms, you have to admit they have given the school tons of exposure, helped with merchandise sales, and helped with recruiting (players know they will be seen because of them).
  4. Thanks for the welcome. Especially you, Travis. That's very kind of you to expose my true nature to everyone beforehand so I don't have to pretend while everyone else figures it out.
  5. Totally agree. Of these, I've only been to Indiana. My mom used to teach there and I used to make it to some of the games. It's insanely cool. The seating is really steep so it's almost like the whole crowd is about to pounce on the court, and there's an amazing energy there. My brother lives in KC and goes to KU games every now and then because they're close. He says that the energy there is even better (which is saying something). I wish so much that I could go watch the Mean Green play up there.
