  1. Sagarin has TCU at 37? What a joke. No hate for the Horned Frogs, they just aren't that good.
  2. Are they just looking at his recieving stats?

  4. SMU trophy should be a giant silver spoon.
  5. We need to remember remember today, but do you know what tomorrow is?
  6. 58-7 one point better than the Aggies did.
  7. Also receiving love: Nebraska (Was that a Hail Pelini or a Bo Mary to beat Northwestern?), Texas, Louisville, Arizona, Cincinnati, Duke, Minnesota, Houston, East Carolina, North Texas, Ball State, Lousiana-Lafayette. Awesome!
  8. I love this team so much.
  9. Tulane is better than i thought they'd be this year, but I think Coach Mac will have our guys ready to play 31-17 good guys.
  10. Our accomplishments so far this year are better than Rice. They beat a bad KU team and barely squeaked out a win against a dreadful FAU. Not much to speak of. Our losses are to better teams too. Ball State is really good. Had they beaten us, they would be knocking on the door of the top 25. I would flip us and Rice and leave the rest about like it is. Just my 2 cents.
  11. Thanks, guys!
  12. CJ and PJ too. CJ was in a walking boot just a couple of days ago. PJ was really good, but we haven't even seen him at 100% yet (hammy).
  13. UNT was the unanimous #1 for the West just like MTSU was for the East. If I'm reading it correctly, 55 was the max possible for UNT to get in that poll.
  14. Creighton may not be the best team we play this year anyway. We could end up playing Michigan in Madison Square Garden if we play our best game; and who knows who we could run into in the NCAA tourney.
  15. I think outside of DFW one would need to be pretty in the know to realize how good UNT is right now. Not sure who votes in the USA Today poll, but it's possible that they just don't pay attention to schools outside of the big conferences while the writer(s) of the article that ranked us #2 among mid-majors obviously does. He had good info on all of the teams he ranked and I don't think he missed anyone that was obvious to include. The MTSU votes are based on last year where they almost cracked the top-25. They should be a decent team, but they won't be as good as they were last year. UNT is clearly the class of the 'belt (and I don't think MTSU is likely to be #2).

  17. Based on the ballislife video, Edo reminds me of Victor Oladipo. If we pick him up (even if we don't) this team is going to be ridiculously fun to watch.
  18. I think everyone has pretty much summed it up. I don't think I've ever felt that disappointed after a game, except maybe after getting blown out by Rice. But I have every confidence that Mac has this team going the right direction generally and that last Saturday won't be the norm going forward. Some side notes: While Thompson's arm is certainly a problem, his lack of field vision has caused just as many problems last Saturday. I won't be surprised if Osborne starts at FAU. I also won't be surprised if we see a new Special Teams coach if we have a couple more games like that (there's a decent chance we would be 3-1 right now if our special teams play was adequate). Things will get better.
  19. You guys might enjoy these (especially nerds like me)
  20. Man, great to see so many Clarkies here. I was a Hall Director at Clark. Hall of the Year, Program of the Year, Most United Staff, SWACURH HOY. No contest. Clarkie for life.
  21. Is this just fantasy?
  22. I think someone else alluded to this too (because they both wear #22), but I definitely see some Emmitt-like moves/vision in what little we've seen so far. That stutter step TD could have been him.
  23. #58 Zach Johnson Hagrid
  24. UNT 34 Troy 17 We will have a big noisy crowd and I think this is a real breakout game for us.
