    What's your reasoning for this? Seems like Rice just let up too early after being up 20 going into the fourth in SA.

    Fair enough. Can't wait for the game so we can put this to rest. FYI the -1 wasn't from me. Also, I never said UTSA is bad. In fact I said "UTSA is pretty good" just that they aren't as good as Rice, who has a good team but even they were never going to beat us at home. Everything you say about UTSA's character and fight is true of UNT as well, and we are faster, stronger, deeper.

    I'm going to root for Ball State tonight as if it were my beloved Mean Green out there. If they win, we will likely be the only loss of a top 20 team.

    This seems to have gone from tough but light hearted razzing to something else. I know I'm no moderator, but I personally don't want to see people getting hurt over some smack talk about a game. I hope this can cool down a few degrees.

    21-0 now, still in the first, and Buffalo (who pounded Ohio last week) is getting spanked by Toledo. Has anyone been watching or following Ohio enough to know if something crazy is going on there?

    I keep expecting the KFC jokes to get old, but I'm always surprised at how well they reheat.

    When all is said and done, I could see us jumping Tech (the wheels might be coming off there) and possibly Houston, but right now this looks pretty accurate from my vantage point.

    Same way here, I needed to call upon my almost Spanish minor to get the gals' opinion on what to order, but it didn't disappoint.

    There's a mexican food place in the gas station across from the Waffle house at Business 121 and 35. Best mexican I've had in the area, and cheap. The pork tacos are unreal.

    If we can keep Trice on as a GA (assuming he isn't playing on Sundays), that would help the loss in leadership.

    I am encouraged by how much Coach Mac rotates players in. That will help a bunch. We are losing a lot of playmakers. I would not be surprised, though, to see new playmakers step up to fill their shoes. I'm in a wait and see mode, wouldn't be surprised either way.

    Again, I'm not making fun. I've got no hate for TCU, they just havent done anything this year. I think we would have beat WVU at home for sure, and I think we would have pulled off one upset that they didn't. We would have also won all the games they won.
