The way I see it is that Dajon is the guy but the coaches are concerned that he might not be able to stay healthy and they don't trust Little Mac or Burgland to lead the team. Greer could step in and do well running the team. I have no ninjaface info, just looks that way to me.

As best I can tell, about 17K plus whatever UNLV sold of their allotment, plus third party sales have already been purchased. We sold our 10k allotment and are working on a second. HOD had sold 5k yesterday according to some reports I have heard. My guess is 20k already sold or more and we have a couple of weeks left.

Not sure it is a bad thing not to be on this list. Maybe they just don't think our bowl is under the radar.

In my very limited experience, exceptional run blockers transfer well to DL, but pass block specialists may not. Very different kinds of athleticism.

Everyone knows of UNLV in a sports context, and we will be seen in markets that may not know much about us, as it plays in a conference that is in the opposite direction from all of our former Sunbelt foes. Not a terrible matchup at all.

We should schedule a green/white scrimmage the week before the game. To avoid the post bye blues. I know they won't do that, but, hey, it's an idea.

Strength of schedule is taken into account in the rankings. They aren't great at predicting outcomes, but at this point of the year, they are a pretty good indicator of how well they performed throughout the season. Ball Sate only lost to us and potential BCS buster/undefeated NIU, that's a heck of a season. They are no slouches. Granted, neither is Michigan, but I truly believe that when we are at our best, we are as good or better than several ranked teams, so I won't assume we would lose. I would just love to see our guys get a chance to play for a win that would make serious waves.

Ball state is ahead of Michigan in the BCS standings (34 vs 41) and we beat them. Not saying we would definitely beat Michigan. But IF we played our best, we would probably win.

I wouldn't write off this team against Michigan. I am hoping we get a crack at them in HOD.

I still wouldn't be surprised to see Goree and Davis redshirt. Coach Mac thinks long term and however good they will be, they will be better with one more year of Wintrich's footbal performance training. Whatever they do will be great, these coaches know what they're doing.
