Your argument is that you lost to some ranked teams? Not sure how that makes you better. SMU lost to some ranked teams, too. Good company. UNT beat 4 bowl teams and 2 ten-win teams. Houston beat 1 bowl team, a team we also beat. UNT had the better year. P.S. Georgia had tons of injuries this year. They were a legit top ten program when we played them.

Houston only had one good win (Rice) and one mediocre win (UTSA) as far as I can tell. Am I missing something? Houston is a good program, but the on field accomplishments of UNT were better this year.

I agree with everything you've said here. Hope the media outlets were paying attention this season. I think after this game, we will be placed at 5th after Baylor, aTm, Texas, TT, with Houston at 6. Though, I think we would beat TT. Edit: Rice will probably be 6.

I agree. I would not put money on us winning, but this is a pretty good opportunity. I'm planning on trying to make the game.

I think it will be Dajon, but it could be any one of those players. Probably not Means, but you never know. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in spring ball.

I haven't watched Louisville much, but Norm was talking about how they were playing without much heart in the middle of the season.

UNT could end up 4th or 5th on the final Texas power ratings if this stays ugly.

I'm really not concerned about the defense as a whole or the offense, really. Biggest question on my mind is, will we be able to replace the playmaking ability we are losing. If not, we will regress a bit, but if so we should be just as good as this year. Either way, long term we are only going to get better as long as we have this coaching staff.

I don't want any part of playing FSU any time soon. Miami would be good, K-State, Notre Dame, something like that would be great. Big name, but not a current top 10 program (or even top 25).

I'm not going to -1 you, but I don't understand rooting against Rice in this. All a Rice win does is improve the perception of CUSA and of us because we will have beaten an 11 win team. A Rice loss makes our conference and us by extension look like a joke because our champion loses to a middle of the pack SEC team. I would love to see UNT in this game, but we didn't win the conference championship and that wasn't Rice's fault. Go Rice!
