I think that sceme was a big part of the problem against FAU, they run a cover 3 a lot to prevent the big play and make the opposing offense dink and dunk their way down the field. That is not our game at all. Our offense is built on the big play.

Why do they think we are 3rd in CUSA?

I respect the point you're making, but there's a reason we won all of those close games. This team is full of heart. No room for cockiness, but plenty of room for appreciation.

I think they would be good games. I love both of those teams (I graduated in Dec of 2003). The thing that gives me added hope in this squad, though, is that we are so young. The future is bright.

I think that the P5 money grubbers have made us forget what college athletics are about. These are students first who play a game beacuse they love it and it provides them an opportunity get an education. They give us so much, and as long as they give it their all we should support them. We owe them that.

Seriously? This is the biggest UNT game at least since I have been following UNT Football (2000), and you aren't sure you want us to win?

Strengthening relationships with the players who will be ambassadors for our school going forward may also be good for the program long term.

I'm hoping for Independence, but if the players want to go to New Orleans, then that's okay with me. They played with such grit and determination this year, they deserve to be able to choose.

I would absolutely love this. I'd probably have family in town for it, and the Cotton Bowl would be rocking. We'd bring 40k fans, and KSU would bring a ton, too. KSU is a little bit hard to figure out this year. They can play some great football at times, and they can struggle at times, so I don't know how the game would go, but I want to see it happen anyway.

We might get a vote or two if we win Saturday. Could possibly get in the top 25 at 11-3.

I don't know what's wrong with Starkville. Spent a few days there last year and it seemed like an awesome little town. They love MSU football. Half of them are now Cowboys fans because of Dak.
