  1. SMU for sure
  2. Totally agree. That list is pretty short, but OU is right there.
  3. Can we not rip into each other and tear each other down? Not enough die-hard Mean Green fans for us not to try to get along. Love you guys.
  4. Yeah, that tweet doesn't look good, but I still think we need to hold off a bit, like you said.
  5. This. We need to wait until we know what really happened before we curse these guys. If they stole the TVs then they need to be gone, or at least have their ships pulled. But until then, let's reserve judgment. Innocent until proven guilty.
  6. At this point I think we will lose one we shouldn't but will beat SMU and pick up two among the UT, IU, Rice, UTSA games. Probably IU and UTSA. I don't think we have an unwinnable game, so I don't agree with the ceilings some are suggesting for a dream season. 9-4 is probably going to be my get your rear on the record guess, but I want to see some fall workouts before I say officially.
  7. Just bought season tickets for the first time. Don't want to miss out because of a sellout.
  8. Does it taste like victory?
  9. I see what you did there...
  10. #67 is Minnesota and we aren't #66: Who's No. 66? This program hasn't suffered three losing seasons in a row since 1975-77.
  11. If UTSA becomes a perennial top 25 program, that's good for us.The better our conference mates do, the better for us. We just need to keep doing what we're doing and join them as a top 25 program. Think about it, if La Tech and USM return to form, Marshall stays good, and we and UTSA keep improving, CUSA could be a heck of a conference. If UTSA does well and ends up leaving us behind for the Big XII, that would be bad for us, but I don't see that happening.
  12. We do have an easy schedule on paper, but these will typically be slanted toward the better teams because a team can't play itself. The FIUs and USMs have one less 1 win team to play and the Rices and Marshalls and UNTs have one less 9 or 10 win team to play.
  13. Green team QBs combined for 357 yards and 62.5% completion percentage in high wind. I will take that any game. I don't get why people are dumping on them for that game. Don't get it at all.
  14. He was talking about the spring game, in which our QBs all played well. They made plays and racked up yards. No reason to trash them at all based on that game.
  15. This is ridiculous. Have you checked the stats that our QBs put up at the Spring game? Pretty darn good across the board.
  16. The younger Steven could do it.
  17. Sad to see him go. I expected him to have a great year.
  18. They predict us going 6-2 and 7-6 and that being enough to get er done in the West: http://athlonsports.com/college-football/conference-usa-2014-football-predictions
  19. For Vizza, the problem wasn't receivers, it was that he was running for his life every other play. I wish we could have had him under better circumstances. I think we would have had some fun.
  20. If we don't have to pay an FCS team, that offsets some of the cost of dropping the bodybag game. But personally, I don't mind a bodybag game when we have a puncher's chance, so I'm cool with this UT game, the Tennessee game and the Iowa game we have scheduled.
  21. That plus more natural geographical rivals and more bowl game tie-ins. It's a big boost for us, even if the football comp isn't much better at the moment. I'd also say that the potential in CUSA is better with USM and LA Tech having a good history of success. They won't stay down forever.
  22. I am honestly shocked it has stuck around this long, and is still as popular as it is, but I'm starting to think it will be here for the long haul and I'm happy about that. I'm not a die hard, but when baseball is good, it's really good.
  23. The worst thing that could happen with these pre-season rankings would be for this team to get their due. The more underestimated they are, the more they show up to prove everyone wrong.
