And what kind of non-profit pays someone close to 8 figures? And if they start paying their players someone more than cost of attendance at the universities, they should have to pay payroll taxes. At some point the govt has to recognize that these programs should not be able to take tax free donations and skip out on sales tax, etc. They are just businesses like any others these days.

Most of those games were 1942 or earlier when we went 1-18. We are 3-10 against them since WW2 and many of those games were when they were earning their death penalty for cheating. A guy on the CUSA board said this and I agree. Any reason this can't happen? "The P5 schools should lose their tax exempt status and have to pay income tax on the profits. The donations would no longer be tax deductible so i assume the donations would dry up quickly. If the P5 want to act like a professional league they should have to abide by the tax laws governing for profit corporations or partnerships."

There are a lot of teams between Nicholls State and OU. Give me an Iowa State or a KU or an Arkansas at Apogee. I do like the IU series and the SMUg series. That's good stuff.

Facilities, tradition, class of the program, market size, school size and upcoming expansion, more central location, a much better campus. I'm sure there are more.

Well, there's one P5 school that I can still pull for against other P5 teams. Lots of my family went to K-State and I grew up being a fan of theirs, so there's that. Still will root for any G5 against them, though (except SMU, I just can't do it).

I'm curious, do the rest of my GMG friends here think that we are significantly undersized given the new roster with updated weights? I didn't do the math but I looked over the DL for our team and all of our opponents and we seemed to stack up pretty well size-wise with all of our opponents except IU (and their Defense is terrible so I'm not worried about that). Some were a little bigger, some a little smaller. Also our OL is one of the biggest. Seems like our LBs and secondary were good sized too.

I never payed any attention to who UT has on their roster until we were about to play them this year, but Shipley was the guy I was most concerned about. This could help a lot.
