Need a 3 headed rushing attack: Peagram Wilson Evans All getting plenty of carries. Use Ivery in special situations or pop him out to the slot. I've always been a Jimmerson fan, but he is just not as good as those guys.

Plus he only played about a half of football today and had a short leash. Give the guy a break, it is his second game.

It was a huge step forward for Greer this game. His leash was very short, but he did almost everything we asked of him. If he plays at least that good or improves we will be fine this year. The D is amazing and can make up for a lot.

Of course we have more to lose. We have a shot at a bowl game and whether SMU starts the season at 1-5 or 0-6 there's very little difference. The Ponies will be at home during bowl season.

Have 2 adopted players: First one, Laramie "was that boomer or did someone come near" Lee, he played like we expected him to play. Had some big hits, and was part of a secondary that led to some coverage sacks. I didn't see him get beat at all during the game. He came out a couple of series. Hope he's not hurt. For my red-headed stepchild, Mini Mac, he was awful. He looks like he is a really good athlete and that he does know what he is doing out there, but he just can't throw the ball. 2 picks in 7 throws, one wasn't his fault, but the other one was.
