  1. FIU is spanking UAB 34-13 in the 4th
  2. Watching the IU game, spoilers coming if you are watching on BTN which is delayed... IU's D looks very vulnerable, several blown coverages and not great tackling. Maryland has had trouble with penalties (as has IU). IU's kicker has got a cannon of a leg, just made a 58 yarder, had a 48 yarder earlier. Their offense hasn't been able to do much on Maryland's D, but their kicker has kept them in it, somewhat (20-9 at half) Didn't watch the IU Mizzou game but my mom was there and said that MU repeatedly shot themselves in the foot. Anyone else watch it and care to comment?
  3. Wouldn't mind a team like that at home in DW's senior year.
  4. I basically agree except that Charlotte is well known for basketball.
  5. I'm slowly starting to understand what you say.
  6. Intentional misspelling?
  7. You would be my hero
  8. Seriously. One out of place comment and there are always more to follow. Let's leave all that junk in the pie forum. This forum is for football.
  9. LOL, got a good laugh out of this one
  10. If I remember correctly, the circumstances were similar when we picked up Brelan. Just saying.
  11. I will probably be building a night stand for the wifey, probably working a little too, and hopefully watching some CUSA football.
  12. My mom should be in town watching the game with us. She taught at IU and UNT and now teaches at MU (who IU just beat). So, I really don't know who she will be rooting for. I just know who I will be rooting for and that I can't wait for the game!
  13. Stein Auf!
  14. 9 straight three and outs then a TO is demoralizing. It wasn't physical fatigue, it was mental.
  15. I think that and I didn't miss the La Tech game.
  16. OK, back with a bit of news, Kiev is safe, but not as safe as where my good friends are in Lviv, which he said was "real safe". Basically, the war is still not official, but there's still fighting going on, mostly out East (Lviv is way out West, Kiev in the middle). There are terrorists (Russians with Russian military tech) who are being allowed in a "buffer zone." Both sides are pretty much entrenched and neither side is making any progress. The biggest concern is the Russians cutting of gas supplies during winter, there could be power outages, which could be bad because of the cold climate. A lot of the old buildings in Lviv have wood burning heaters, and Ukrainians have really pulled together during this conflict, so he expects that if power is shut off, people will welcome others into their homes/places of business to keep warm.
  17. I don't get the assumption we lose at IU, either. We had one massive missing piece on an otherwise solid team and now it looks like we've filled that gap well. The IU game could go either way, and I expect good things going forward.
  18. This was a bad week for me in the pick'em. Need to do some catch up
  19. If you guys believe in the Bible, His entire lineage is recorded there. Jesus was a Jew from the tribe of Judah, born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth. He wasn't white or black.
  20. Agreed. On that play, I couldn't help thinking how Brelan would have taken it to the house.
  21. Beat them worse than Arkansas and way worse than AFA. Bad opponent, but still a good showing. Dajon is the real deal. We have a real chance to win each game going forward with him under center.
  22. I've heard "All Dajon" a couple times
