  1. Actually, the ones I would want to avoid are the good FCS teams. NDSU would probably be a bowl team in FBS, and a loss is still rough on public perception. If we are going to buy a win, let's buy a win.
  2. Nicholls was exactly what we needed at that point in the schedule. Now we go into IU healthy and DW got some good practice. Lots of people don't know the difference between Nicholls and Idaho so a blowout win is always a good thing.
  3. Did you wipe out the best game/worst competition game from every other team as well to get that ranking? The stat is inflated, but it isn't out of nowhere.
  4. I'm guessing he means consistently good.
  5. Depends on how we show. If we blow them out of the water and Dajon has another QB rating of +200, then we might get there. If we squeak by with mediocre numbers, we won't get to the 60s. If we lose but don't get blown out, we will probably stay where we are.
  6. Was working earlier
  7. Good stuff, Tony!
  8. La. Tech only had four decent drives in the game. Given that the Offense was giving them no help (or hope) at all, I don't think that's horrible. (Texas was very similar. Only had 4 good drives, one of which was extended due to a bad penalty) Our D does make some mistakes at times (they're young), but they are a strong unit that's only going to get stronger as the year(s) goes on.
  9. This quote has me rolling! Great commercial.
  10. Speed. Runs a lot like Erick Evans
  11. This really could go a lot of different ways, but I'm going to guess that Dajon is the real deal. Both his accuracy (underrated) and his mobility shine, opening up the running game and we have a consistent, balanced offense. D does its job, but "bend don't break" ends up giving up 4 field goals (that guy has a cannon for a leg) to go along with two touchdowns. Mean Green 41 IU 26
  12. I think that this is where we should be if you're looking at our season so far, but I also think the rest of the season could be very different
  13. LOL i was thinking about this routine the whole time reading about Vito's hyperbole. Great minds think alike and I guess ours do too.
  14. I have only seen their Maryland game and parts of the Bowling Green game, but I was not impressed with their QB at all. Coleman and Stoner looked good to me and the commentators had high praise for Wynn but he was facing some tough coverage, so I assume he is pretty good too. Their D seems vulnerable too. I think we match up well against them and have a good shot at a W.
  15. This guy really has no clue about what's happening with UNT. If I was just looking at stat lines I would say the same.
  16. I think there's a decent chance that CUSA keeps up with and maybe surpasses AAC in terms of football by a little long term. I think we are better right now. USM and La Tech will be back to form, Marshall is going to remain a solid program, and UNT, FAU, and UTSA are on the rise. I also love all the regional games in CUSA. But the basketball in the AAC is top notch, and that's worth leaving for if we had that opportunity.
  17. I think this is my fav Vito article ever. Nice job Brett!
  18. Is that a joke? How do they get away with that?
  19. There is only a handful of guys on that list that didn't end up at powerhouses.
  20. LOL, best I've seen in awhile
  21. Man, I didn't see that coming. Really tough to pick CUSA this year, at least for me.
