  1. It has not been a reclamation project since 2004, it's been a demolition. Unfortunately, the reclamation that has only just begun will produce results similar to the demolition for awhile because the parts are essentially the same.
  2. Did anybody pay any attention to what coach Mac has been saying? It's one thing to hope for miracles, but UNT football has been a disaster since Dickey quit recruiting. Inertia like that will take some time to reverse. How long did it take for JJ to fix the mess he found?
  3. We're like grass fed beef, less marbling but better for you.
  4. Solid win as in our ladies took care of business and won pretty handily, not that UTA's anything special.
  5. Good game, good crowd, and a solid win. UTA put up a decent fight in the third to give the end of the game a little tension. This weekend's games against SHSU, OU, and Cincy should be fun.
  6. Surely not, must have been 11 random people from the student section. Sorority girls mostly, I'm sure.
  7. Whatever you do, make sure you go directly through the ticket office. My idea of best available was different than the computer's and the good folks down there gave me exactly what I wanted.
  8. When DISD built its new stadium. The lights pretty much ruined it for astronomy if I remember correctly.
  9. You took the words right out of my keyboard. I also have a man crush on Hall to this day.
  10. Of course we didn't need him, we're so loaded with talent we've got possible NBA lottery picks hanging out on our rec teams!
  11. True, I had forgotten the grand tradition.
  12. Here I sit in Columbia, MO visiting my in-laws and I forgot to bring an NT cap so I could quietly gloat over the Tiger's impotence against the mighty Mean Green. How could I be so forgetful.
  13. I think it was a pep rally before the TCU game in 2001. There was a girl in an A & M shirt and she just would not give in. It may have been the lowest energy and most uncomfortable pep rally I've ever been to.
  14. Why are you ordering entire menus?
  15. Believe me, that particular meal doesn't happen often, but it's a truly wonderful occaision when it does.
  16. Is there a lunch in the Metroplex happier than Denton Co. Hamburger followed by some Beth Marie's ice cream?
  17. I don't get the idea that having all members playing football makes the conference better. How would that work? If ORU would add value to SBC basketball and be reasonably competative in the other sports they field, there's no reason why we shouldn't send feelers out to them. As for UALR, don't you think talk about giving them the boot sounds a little like sour grapes coming from us right now?
  18. Thanks so much for the updates. I'm stuck in darkest East Texas and the only good source I had available to me was reading on my phone for this and the Denver game. Good gravy, I can't get back to Denton soon enough!
  19. What's worse is it looks like a quite from the coach or a player. It's bad enough when some jerk writer does that, but from someone actually involved in the competition? Terrible.
  20. In class 15 hours, study for 45 hours, sleep for 8 hours a night still leaves around 50 hours a week to eat, meet an attractive reason to stay in Denton for a few years, and work on basketball. Two rec games a week isn't goint to take away from study time.
  21. Does she know she can get that lanced?
  22. Calling someone names and belittling them only makes you look dumber than them. I avoid shouting matches as much as I can.
  23. I did my part. It's almost not worth arguing with them.
  24. In spite of the giant WTF presented to us tonight, my buddy was into it and had a good time. He was also very receptive to going to more.
  25. Going and bringing a friend/current UNT grad student who I don't think has ever been to a game!
