So Jones was alright?

I feel like they weren't going inside because they played tough defense and because Abu was not doing well in the matchup. His hook shot and inside pivot game look nothing like last year. I don't know if the passing was a plan to open lanes up, but it wasn't throwing their defense off at all.

I've been saying it for a while, Ousmane has not been himself. He was a giant hole in our game today. FTs are so critical, we need to shoot better from the line. That alone would have kept us in the game. Too many mental mistakes and just unaware of what to do when having the ball. Most of all I feel for Rubin, he just can't catch a break. I really hope it's nothing serious.

No one is saying we don't support the team, on the contrary we want the best for our athletes. You're mixing up criticism with derision. Believe it or not, I'm rooting for the team to win the championship because I want them to be successful. Just because we are unhappy doesn't mean we hate this team. Keeping quiet and not demanding for more has led to decades of poor choices. Football staffs get paid to do a job, we give our time and money to support this team so we absolutely have a right to voice our opinions. So let me ask you, are the criticisms in my post above warranted? Has this staff performed well in both this year and the last 7 as a whole?

So you're ok with getting stomped 48-10 by SMU , 58-27 by UNLV who ended 5-7, 44-34 by Memphis? We were embarrassed 41-21 by UAB going scoreless in 3 quarters. The only quality win for the whole season was WKU, they played a great game. People are letting the championship blind them to a lot of valid criticism on how the team has performed this year. I give the team full credit for the wins it has, they play who is put in front of them. However it is clear from OOC play that our conference is poor, why is wanting better than mediocrity considered bitching?

I feel like our bench is night and day from last year. Martinez has had some good numbers, he's just been quiet the last couple of games. Jones is still getting back into rhythm and testing his knee so I know he will come through. Stone, Sissoko, and Moore can chip a few in and we are looking good. The only thing I'm actually worried about is the FT shooting. We can take a lot of pressure off if we can hit our FT early.

Yeah, Moore's handling skills look excellent. He looks confident and has no fear driving into the lane. He will be a beast if he keeps developing.

0 championships, getting stomped by FAU 41-17. 0-5 in bowl games with highlights of losing to Utah St. 52-13, and Miami-Ohio 27-14. 2 of those bowls were also exceptions where we didn't win 6 games to get there.

Very good win. Let's hope this team is finally showing its' true colors after the injuries and bouts of the flu. Perry is shinning through and Eady finally had a good game. Of the transfers he was the only one who hadn't had a stand out game. Ousmane still needs to make his mark on these games, I would like to see Sissoko get more minutes to help out at the post. Not a lot to complain about though, great game.
