You'd need to get the athletic department onboard to get the word out to new students at orientation that this is a thing we are trying to do. Also with a prompt on the jumbo-tron to get people in the stadium to start doing it.

If we did the basics right at all levels we wouldn't be in hole we are in today. We lack a good foundation from top to bottom in many areas.

It doesn't. This excuse is always trotted out even though the school of business dwarfs any liberal arts or art department. Also for decades people complained about greeks tailgaiting and not going into games (if they even do that anymore) but I guess that doesn't fit the narrative. Decades of losing have sapped the program of any momentum. in 2018 vs LA Tech there didn't seem to be any problem getting a huge crowd, I wonder what happened?

Agree, there would be a huge drop off of the type of players we would be able to get. What people like FFR need to get is the only way FB goes back to pre-NIL is no more games on TV.
