Also I thought the foul on Buggs was an and 1? They took the bucket away and made him shoot 2? I thought it was clearly a bucket plus a foul? -

SJ was almost a top 25 team when rankings came out, and I won't be surprised if they are sometime this season. In these big games you can't be afraid to shoot, too many times we gave up a possession without the chance of even getting a bucket. -

I would have had Edwards or Jones take the shot. Everyone knew that Scott would be the one so a nice change up would have been nice. -

Two good looks, to take the lead. We just need to make the baskets in crunch time. -

How is that not an offensive foul? -

I don't see how we didn't get the ball again. They never reset the shot clock. Sissoko had the chance to pull us into the lead. We need to make the easy layups. -

They have 6 team fouls so let's hope we keep driving on them. -

Trying to get too cute on the inside. I wish we would move the ball a bit more. -

Tie game. Need to keep shooting with confidence. -

Really just need to make the buckets on offense. The shots and chances are there, they just look nervous. St. John's is very physical and talented, but to defense has been settling in. -

Looking forward to this game. Beating a BE team (we should be the Big East, but that's a discussion for a different thread), would be a great accomplishment. Let's hope the defense is tightened up for this one. GMG! -
Has the $MU exit fee been announced?
Green Otaku replied to El Paso Eagle's topic in Conference ReAlignment
Nope. I doubt we'll hear anything until spring. -
I remember in the Buggs interview he was praising Scott, saying something like, "That's a next level NBA guy." He's been grinding and getting better every year.
-
Don't know what to tell you. Now if the data on ESPN is wrong then that's my mistake for not double checking. I thought it was correct, I have no problem admitting I was wrong on something.
-
If you are going to be a troll at least be good at it.
-
Are you seriously that dense or just talking to talk? The question was: Fact: He was 34th nationally in 3pts LAST YEAR. That's a FACT. That's over a season, not two games. So tell me again why he isn't a great shooter? Because he's having lower stats in 2 games this year? Have you heard of a thing called sample size?
-
Exactly what I was going to say. That Nike money can sustain anything Oregon needs.
-
So when someone shows you with facts that he is a great shooter you just ignore it? Great argument there.
-
He did still play great, and maybe it's not an accurate telling of what happened, just what it looked like on the broadcast.
-
The thing about Moore is bringing him in wouldn't affect Stone as they don't play the same position. At 5'11 he would have to be a point guard. You'd have to either make him a direct sub for Jones or slide Jones over off of the PG position if you want to keep him on the court, like we did when Perry came in last year.
-
He already makes $7M a year. With what they have going up in Oregon I don't know if they have what it takes to lure him.
-
Yeah, he was missing a few and he probably felt like it wasn't his night so gave up some shots he would have most likely taken if he was shooting better. On the broadcast they said he was only 2nd to TP on 3s in the nation last year IIRC. When he gets comfortable he's going to be incredible.
