  1. These look a lot closer to Littrell numbers than I thought they would. Of course minus the won championships and bowl win.
  2. It's almost as if you purposely left out the very next sentence from his post. "The only way I could rationalize it if its a young (ish)up-and-coming coach that could inject excitement (ex. Emmett Jones)."
  3. Many of us have been burned by buying tickets for a higher price than retail to sit in a high row corner section, when we could have just bought directly from the retailer on the 50 yard line for the less. I wish it wasn't that way! I still do buy mine through the university, but I don't blame anyone who doesn't.
  4. This looks like the same tailgate that was posted in the other thread, just a different price point?
  5. That's curious that he didn't travel with the team for sure. Maybe he knew going into the game what the results meant. As in, not just suspected, but was told.
  6. Whenever @TheReal_jayDdamn well pleases
  7. RV was a lame duck already and had no say in the hire.
  8. You can stop saying WVA. he was at VA Tech, and Memphis before that. And often when a coach gets fired from the higher level school, their next position is for less money. My only question is if he's still receiving payouts from the buyout, and if so, if our salary would offset that, then he'd only be coming back because he wants to coach, and not because he'd make any more money.
  9. Doesn't it have to be posted, and for a particular amount of time?
  10. Is he also someone that was a good traditional recruiter, but is unproven when it comes to the portal? He seemed to fall out of favor right around the time the portal business started, and it seems like a consensus that at this point working the portal is equally as important as traditional recruiting.
  11. While I think he would be one of the better options to set us up for success, I think the optics of hiring a fired coach from what we perceive to be a lower level program would not be great.
  12. Guilty consciences. They contributed to this and know it.
  13. Top tier schools fire long tenured coaches for hovering at .500 on a regular basis. You're saying things, but they're not true.
  14. He's never been good with burner accounts now, has he?
  15. Those of us with kids and family obligations, this is great. After bedtime is always a win!
  16. So two winning seasons, two losing seasons. Seth Littrell and a .500 record, you say?
  17. Whether you agree with it or not, a move like this will negatively affect the public's overall university perception. There is zero chance that the top of the university would allow an aggressive football coach hire to do the perception damage that would happen to the University as a whole. 0%.
  18. A quote from a defendant's attorney defending the defendant, you say?
  19. This would be the first time I ever questioned renewing. But I would definitely think hard about supporting another year of the same.
  20. Even if it doesn't, his one year this year trumps all of Seth's 7 years of, whatever you call it, combined. Trying to compare them to us last year would have made sense, but Tulane has closed that book.
  21. Interacting with fans is not his job. He's a reporter not a social media manager. He writes articles and posts them here because they're relevant. Tagging him and "calling him out" won't change that.
  22. This will be the first time in the Littrell era that I say if I can't drive there and back in the same day, I won't be going. He has brought my enthusiasm to Todd Dodge and final year of McCarney levels.
