LOL. I was there. That game was less "iconic" as much as it was a study in misery. I remember we stormed the field after that game. We less stormed it for the win and more because we were glad the game was over with haha.

Good guy. Respect him for his service and for his call for civility during the 2008 campaign (look it up). He's an honorable individual and deserves to be celebrated. Some stories that came out in the past 10 years really exemplify his privilege though, and you can't call yourself a maverick if you vote with Agent Orange 85% of the time.

This topic is actually one of the more interesting topics that's come up in the last few months. I've enjoyed reading some of the responses. My GF went to USC (Southern Cal) went to maybe 4 home games/tailgatings and stayed through 2-3. Football is not her thing (though the Friday Night Lights series is). She didnt want to go to HOD Bowl in 2014 and thinks football games are way too long (Luckily, I'm a bigger basketball fan). She does support my UNT habit though and says if we ever got a baseball team, she'd be down to go.

So here's my fear: the team is thinking too highly of themselves. Also, I want to protect myself against any potential letdown. (Still havent recovered from my 06-10 student years) Losses: Arky SMU UAB FAU UTSA- upset LA Tech

Bump. This is now at Austin Eastciders at 6 pm (never tried eastciders? I have about 60 cans in my fridge for any alum who wants to come down) There's a rock climbing gym right next to it, if any of you want to partake after the event. Oh yeah, and parking isn't so bad.

ATX Mean Green Folks, Talked to my GM at Caroline and he said we could do a watch party at the Upstairs bar with drink specials (food is already fairly cheap). Catch is, I need to get at least 15 people there so we can continue to do more events at the bar/restaurant. Besides @Jason Howethcan any of yall commit to coming downtown on a Saturday morning to watch our Mean Green?

was there tonight. Decent mean green showing. Got to hang with TheWren- just an awesome guy and we are lucky to have him. First ten minutes we dominated. Our D was the problem- gave them too much space near the 18 yard line- their footwork totally confused us. Wren said they were young so I'm looking forward to something big next year.
