ATX Mean Green Folks, Talked to my GM at Caroline and he said we could do a watch party at the Upstairs bar with drink specials (food is already fairly cheap). Catch is, I need to get at least 15 people there so we can continue to do more events at the bar/restaurant. Besides @Jason Howethcan any of yall commit to coming downtown on a Saturday morning to watch our Mean Green?

was there tonight. Decent mean green showing. Got to hang with TheWren- just an awesome guy and we are lucky to have him. First ten minutes we dominated. Our D was the problem- gave them too much space near the 18 yard line- their footwork totally confused us. Wren said they were young so I'm looking forward to something big next year.

Like the poster above me said, giuliani was a two term mayor of the nation's largest city and happened to serve during one of the worst tragedies in American history, former presidential candidate, and attorney general. There have also been some interesting generals spoken too. With all the hate in the USA (esp. after Charlottesville), is bringing Trump Jr in really a smart move for a university that struggles for relevance even in Texas? Poor move by Kuehne and it sucks UNT has to have our name on this

It may not be any way related to the UNT lecture series, but it's literally on the UNT website. It's a bad look to a university that constantly struggles with positive attention.

What is he going to speak about? How to turn the White House into a family business? How you too can be successful with a fat inheritance? I'm all for hearing both sides, but the UNT Speaker Series could've had someone way more interesting/inspiring/not under a US federal investigation.

Glad Batchelder is leaving. I remember talking to him as a student and hearing the tired old "well we can't do this cause X" and "we can't do this cause Y". Looking forward to some new blood.

It was owned by the guys who did Lucky Lou's/Riprocks. I had a bunch of people watch the SMU game there with me a few years ago. Last time I went in there was substantially less MG gear. Sad day. Beer was great, burgers were decent.
