  1. Bumpin this one more time. Would love to see y’all there.
  2. USM 35 UNT 30 Points scored by UNT in the second half: 30 Times we are referred to as North Texas State: 1 Ridiculous polls sent out via facebook: 6 Mentions of Brett Favre on the broadcast: 3 Reasons I have to go to Mississippi: 0
  3. Bump. I know a lot of you don't live in Austin, but please share this with those that do. We're trying to grow and have just as successful watch parties as @UNT 90 Grad throws. A stronger alumni base all over Texas rather than just DFW is a good thing.
  4. They had Mean Joe Greene speak at the opening dinner too. Saw a lot of social media play on that.
  5. Agenda with speakers Think it ends today.
  6. Lance Dunbar too...
  7. this time, we aren't going to Chili's. Join the officially chartered Austin Alumni Association at Waterloo Ice House on Burnet Road this Saturday to watch the Southern Miss game! Plenty of specials, and you'll be able to avoid the ACL crowd as well! Hope to see everyone there!
  8. All i know is if we were 5-0 with a win over Top 25 TCU (at the time) and ranked, I have no doubt we'd sell out Apogee
  9. It definitely is impressive but we have a long way to go. We've been blown out constantly by bigger-time opponents and have never even scored in the NCAA tournament.... so I think the perception is "well CUSA is an easy conference"
  10. Definitely going. Brother was former Corps and VP of Student Body so it'll be nice to experience another Aggie gameday with a different feel to it. Also, love that we dont leave the state of texas at all for OOC and really only two games need flights (maybe el paso too) Houston Baptist might be an interesting game....
  11. Shoutout to him and Brint Ryan, they both are public facing figures but arent shy about giving you their personal contact to have debate on issues.
  12. It used to be that people would file out at halftime. The crowd was engaged, sections were packed, and the game day experience was miles better than when I was a student. Also it was my first time on campus since 2011- it is incredible how much the university has changed for the better re: branding, signage, spirit, experience. Shout out to the older couple that let me and buddy use their chairbacks. Love the NT alumni pavillion, but they need a better caterer. Al's BBQ is poop-inducing. Finally got to try Tony's balls. They were amazing, and went down easy, unlike our special teams performance. The amount of sponsors and awesome free food available during tailgating has increased wildly since the late 2000s and that's on this athletic staff. I dream of the day when both Apogee and the fouts side are full with tailgaters....
  13. I think his kid is a grad assistant
  14. where is your tailgate? looking forward to making it out- havent been to a home game since 2011
  15. To be fair June Jones didnt leave him with much. He improved SMU year over year. Arkansas wont fire him, they're already on the hook to pay Bielema, why would you pay 3 coaches at the same time?
  16. I'll be there for the 9/28 game. Definitely would love to stop by
  17. ah crap didnt see this. Just bought them online. Where were yours?
  18. Still think they should just get rid of the redshirt and give everyone 5 years regardless if you transfer or not
  19. This is probably beating a dead horse but why can’t we break through? Isn’t it true that we also haven’t scored in the tourney as well?
  20. Already is happening. Why pay x amount when I can save money and watch on tv?
  21. Has Hedlund had a signature out of conference win over the past 5 years? I feel like this is the MO.
  22. Would rather get them from someone on here than pay a ticket broker.
  23. dan marino won a conference championship though..... more like the tony romo of UNT
  24. Good crowd on short notice
