Take this from a macro perspective- its not just college football. The "great rehiring " is going on in the professional world- people are leaving jobs for more money, greener pastures. I won't blame Seth for this- we're at the bottom of the food chain - let's build an awesome team, an awesome NIL program and an awesome environment and see what happens.

I think you twisted my words here. I am going to take an opportunity that is better to help my family. My wife (and future kid) is part of my decision making. Texas is an at will state - an employer can fire me at any time. An employer doesnt have to give me a notice that I'm being fired. Why would I have any loyalty to them- my loyalty is to helping my friends and family. Murphy twins can trade anonymity for money, exposure and future opps. I don't blame them. If your boss doesn't put you in a position to succeed, why would you stay with them?

You old timers are so weird. This is happening all the time outside the NCAA too in the business world. If I get a better opportunity somewhere, its about furthering myself. Leaving doesn't say anything about them. If Seth Littrell got a better offer, he'd do what's best for his family, not what's best for North Texas. Think about your current role in your job- wouldn't you go somewhere else for higher pay/exposure/opportunity? Also I'd rather get the chance to play for a National Championship that for a 6-6 team that lost in a made up bowl to a MAC team. I don't fault them at all.

As much as I disagree with a lot of the people on this thread, it does frustrate me that congress can still trade stocks during their terms. I know John Ossoff is introing a bill against that, and Pelosi didn't like the bill (I wish she would leave, she's more useless than people think). Like how hard is it for you to see that people's livelihoods were destroyed and here you are bragging about your giant gains? This is also part of the reason why Dems will get blown out in 2022.

I'm all for this, would love to see HBCU's continue to get more talent and become destinations. Deion promised a culture shift, and he's delivering. He also knows how to use NIL to his advantage. The SWAC championship was almost 50k because of his constant promoting.
