The MwC has some awesome schools, but AAC offers much better traveling opps for our fans… we don’t travel great as is -
What is the End Game with Realignment?
meanJewGreen replied to Mike Jackson's topic in Mean Green Football
So much of college football is about regional rivalries. There was an article I read recently about WVU fans still pining for the days where they played Penn State and Pitt frequently. Rivalries like nebraska/OU, KU/Mizzou, and now ones like USC/Cal, the apple cup will all go away too because of this. Obviously realignment has benefitted us in getting us with Texas schools, but I dont think people will care much about a UCLA- Iowa game or Arizona State- Baylor as much as people think they will. Heck... even Texas- Vanderbilt will get dumb after awhile -

meanJewGreen replied to meanJewGreen's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Yeah this is my first grill, so i want to get the basics down. I dont have room yet for another grill. TBH, i should've bought a smoker/ gas combo, but wanted to master things first -

Have you smoked at all on the propane grill? I wanted to do that -
Amidst all the political talk, I feel like I needed a topic on here that could get a lot of deep discussion. Question for all: What are your go to BBQ recipes? Propane Grill? Gas? Smoker? What are you cooking now? What are you trying to cook? Reason for posting: I just got a propane grill and want to figure out some fun recipes to cook on there

Yep, Don Ward is Austin alum and owns it. Has gotten a lot of press recently. -
Yeah but his big failure was being 16-21 with SoFla. Otherwise, he's been a consistent winner - 3 winning seasons at UCONN, 4 straight winning seasons at ECU and 6 straight at La Tech, including 6 straight bowl wins , all schools had rough budgets. Granted, maybe that's his niche.

he needs to get his standards checked...... 🤣

While this could be in another board section, I figured more folks might be able to help on the football board. My ask: does anyone know businesses owned/operated by UNT alums in Central and South Texas? So far I have: Hula Hut Lamberts A real estate agents/ insurance folks Austin Gourmet Popcorn Laundris Could use some more help (especially around restaurants, bars, booze, etc)

Still knows how to win regardless. Other USFL coaches went 1-8

Hey an llc only costs $400. Take unt tickets as a business expense
-
Got an interesting email from athletics about the new ticket packages.....https://meangreensports.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=WMB&linkID=unt-athletics&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode= I like the effort, I do fear it might devalue tickets if we're handing them out for free.

They dont count for much but there is a national audience on them and every time we've played we've S*** the bed.
