Ummm..... I wouldn't compare anything SMU did to anything Baylor did. There's a difference between paying players and rampant sexual assault/subsequent coverup that lands people in long jail terms Baylor did that to themselves. Also, Texas Tech had like 1 incredible year.

Plus these are wayyyyyy better than when you and I went to UNT when we had uniforms that looked like Southlake Carroll

Yo @Cr1028 how can I get you to an alumni association event down here…

they bailed out banks, farmers, airlines and no one says a word.... you bail out a little bit of student loan debt and people are up in arms. Most jobs shouldn't even require a degree honestly. One year at UNT costs $26k + a bit more. Four years is 100k. This is absurd. Not only that, but expenses have gone up while salaries have stagnated.

Not the right forum but this issue is a lot more nuanced than just that.

I feel like some of the bigger schools have a lot of these sports-focused donors. We're far from there though.
