I have to respectfully disagree with this. While I don't mind the light situation near as much as some other things at the PIT. I hate watching Laker games because of the way they light their arena.

Gagree. All of the improvements we would like to see were discussed. Also, if Hopeful had done a little research on the Pit he would know that the major hurdle in improving it is that the athletic department doesn't control the arena. It is controlled by the University, as there are classroms in the tunnels and most major University events are held there, so the AD can't just make whatever changes they want whenever they want to. If they could I'm sure at least some of the improvements would have already been made. And finally, if Hopeful had attended the Tech game, like 7,000+ of us did, he would know that the Pit can be an amazing atmosphere.

I actually noticed while in Voertman's today that they now have Tristan Thompson home jerseys. The letters and numbers aren't raised which looks cheap in my opinion, but it's still better than nothing. I saw some in the stockroom of the bookstore on campus as well. Not an exact replica as far as jersey and number material but the design looks spot on to me.

I believe we are keeping the kelly green we have now. The University is just getting done changing all of the signs on (in front of buildings etc.) and off (billboards etc.)so I doubt that they will want to have to change everything again. So I say: 1)green helmets, 2)green jersey w/green pants at home, 3)white jerseys w/white pants on the road. Solid colors look more clean and crisp than the other way around. And no Pro Combat crap, complete idiocracy!

PLEASE NO NIKE BASKETBALL JERSEYS! I am a nike fan in all other sports but their basketball uniforms are horrible in my opinion. They look like sleeveless compression shirts with shorts that are so big that I'm not sure they can technically be considered shorts. I kinda like our jerseys as is but if we are going to upgrade I really hope we don't go with nike.

I know. The post was more my spin on the situation to make it sound better than "UNT can't even play their spring game in their own stadium, they have to go to a high school stadium". My point was Fouts is no longer our football stadium so this track conflict doesn't bother me. ...And it already won with "Dances With Wolves"

Fouts is no longer our football stadium. I don't see this as a scheduling conflict with the track event. I view this as a scheduling conflict with the new stadium not being complete yet. Since we couldn't play the spring game at our new stadium we simply chose the next best stadium in Denton.

Jamie Benn is much more of a "future cornerstone of the team" guy. We have plenty of depth at forward both in prospects and in already established players. What we had in Niskanen was a defenseman who didn't like contact and therefore didn't fit the mold of what Crawford wants from his defense. What we got was a PROVEN "puck moving" defenseman who isn't afraid of contact instead of a SUPPOSED "puck moving" defenseman. Also, Goliogoski has 31 points on the season so far and Neal only has 39 even though he has been on the top line all season where Richards tees it up for his linemates every game. Good trade in my opinion.

I love the idea of the tunnel underneath the video board. As much as I absolutely hate Texas University I think their run out tunnel under their giant video board is pretty badass. I think ours will be a scaled down version of that with the potential to be just as badass in the future. That is one of the main reasons I'm on board with having the screen in front of the AC, it creates more pagentry and a better atmosphere.

The scoreboard move is understandable if we want to fill the stadium. People won't want to sit in the wing or the lower bowl endzone seats if they have to keep turning around. I think the scoreboard will look great there and allow us to sell a lot of endzone seats.

As far as Riley is concerned I think that his injuries of the past are not as much of an issue as many people believe for 2 reasons. 1)Canales knows how to use him as he showed in the second half of the with Riley being able play through a bad wrist without anymore injury other than the incident at the end of the K-state game. 2) Another year of getting stronger under a trusted strength and conditioning coach will make him even more durable.

No, the main large video screen will be right in front of the AC. I believe there will be a smaller scoreboard on the wing.

Gagree. The lower bowl endzone seats will most likely be better than the upper deck home side seats. Not only are you closer to the action but you have a great view of the giant video screen located in front of the AC

Yes, the suites are seperate from the club level.

I believe the smaller 3rd deck is for the seats that will be in the suites. Those will be behind glass if I am not mistaken.

I would imagine if he came here that would put Baine back to 3rd string at best.
