  1. Any chance we get a bid? I don't know what the typical resume of an NIT invitee looks like, but I would assume 22-11 (8-8) with victories against TTU, LSU, and a deep conference tourney run would do the job...
  2. So fired up baby!!!!!
  3. I feel terrible for Cook and don't wish injuries on anyone. Out of all the players on our roster he LOOKS the most NFL ready. Emphasize LOOKS. Over the last few years I can't remember a time when I was like "Man, that Cook sure is a playmaker." Examples: Week 1, he missed multiple run fits as well as tackles against Clemson. Week 2, Rice's TE basically had his way against our defense (TE's are usually matched up against the strong safety) and on the 1st touchdown Cook was matched up man-to-man with #2. I think we will be better off with John Shorter at safety. Do any of yall remember last years game against Arkansas State? He was the best player of the field, bar none.
  4. We need more players like Nathan Tune. Tune was the guy that gave us IDENTITY/SOUL/HEART/LEADERSHIP that has been obviously lacking from the head coach. I don't want to sound cliche, but give me 11 Tunes and I'll win some ball games...
  5. He reminds me of Amhad Bradshaw of the NY Giants. Bradshaw is listed at 5-9 198, and built similar to Dunbar. They both have the speed to take it 80 yards to the house, handle the rock 20+ times a game between the tackles, and are excellent receivers out of the backfield. Bradshaw also went to a smaller school in Marshall (though they have produced players like Moss, Leftwich, and Pennington) and went in the 7th round. Ultimately, I could see Dunbar going in rounds 2-4 depending on how the next few years pan out...
  6. Norm was 5-7 last week, for what it's worth...
  7. This is a huge loss. It's gonna be hard to replace 25 consecutive starts, especially from the quarterback of the offensive line. There is a reason UNT ranked among the best in the nation last year in sacks allowed, and JJ was major part of that. I believe Leppo will step up and get the job done, but this is an obvious concern moving forward.
  8. 31-22 Clemson. We score 3 times, miss 2 extra points, and make a gimmy field goal.
