    I think our guys would be pumped over this matchup..not sure how Tech would feel about playing us, but that's not really my concern. USA Today also has some other good games lined up. Thanks for sharing.

    Same here. I’ve been wearing UNT gear almost daily. It’s been pretty cool getting random comments from strangers. My favorite was, “Mean Green? You guys beat my Army. I was pissed.” I replied, “Yeah, it was a good game.” Loved it!

    Ha! You’re right. We have had moments, but they’ve been a play, or a drive (I alluded to those moments, but the D hasn’t been consistent for an entire game). We have ability, but haven’t been able to put it all together. Only spurts. I’m glad the D did step up in those moments (UTSA)...My green lenses are hoping these moments are a glimpse into our next two games! GMG!

    I love my Apogee experience! I had two suggestions: 1) “UNT Football Alum: Where are they now?” I thought it’d be cool if they showed former players in the NFL, coaching, teaching, or how they are using their degree (business, marketing, etc) 2). Love the addition of tv timeout activities (kids race to wear helmets, dancing for Whataburger, etc). I’d like to see more of that.

    Ha! So are you saying I might be reaching with my “at times” Top 25 Defense? The defense has come up big at times, l just want to see more of it! I believe!

    I vaguely remember hearing DD’s big push to recruits was playing time, but since he couldn’t promise that to new recruits, his one trick didn’t work anymore. I’m basing this off of a vague memory from 13-ish years ago.

    I don’t think we’re awful. The punting was awful to start the year, but I don’t cringe when we punt anymore...so there’s that. Not much of a glowing endorsement, but there has been improvement.

    I hope he gets to play in the Bowl Game, but if not, I hope he’s healthy enough to participate in the various senior bowls. GMG!

    I had a buddy on the team back then, apparently some of the coaches didn’t think he was ready to play. Well, after his second 50+ TD, one of the coaches was heard screaming, “is he eff’n ready now?!?”

    From SL’s postgame interview last night, it seemed like the fumbles were the reason for the benching, but he was also nursing an injury. He didn’t say Wilson was benched, it’s just what I read into his response.
